The jury finds her quilty

Oh, I see. So you'll just sit behind your keyboard and make judgments about people you've never known and about whom you know nothing. Fits the mold 100%. Do us all a favor and fucking die.

"That I understand, but one can't just say that Potter killed Wright because he's black without a single grain of sand in the universe of evidence. That's racist".

again, you dont know what racism is.

Maybe 85 years ago when you could still get it up.

Nobody could get it up for you.

Well, no human anyway.

Maybe a bull buffalo or something that looks and smells more like you do could stand the thought of humping you.

Everyone is racist.

Everyone of all races, nationalities, religions and skin colors.

Including blacks and including you.

It's as natural and human as love, hate, happiness, sadness and fear and everyone has been on the receiving end of it.

It has always been and it will always be.

Get used to it and get over it.

you pretend to not know either...

whites are the racist in america........own it!

Boy scouts?

Church choir boys?

They've been charged with hate crimes btw.

Does that make them racists?

This bitch dropped out of fifth grade.

I think you're wrong on this, and I think it's wrong to conflate this w/ some of the other shootings we've seen.

Her remorse was instant, and has looked sincere from the get-go. I believe this was a tragic mistake.

People forget what the day-to-day is like for cops. They put themselves in harm's way constantly. She made one terrible mistake.
Excellent.

I don't buy it.

Everyone prefers their own kind to those of other kinds.

Nothing wrong with it as long as nothing harmful is allowed to result from it.

Unfortunately, many humans don't have enough control over their actions so they allow their prejudices to guide them.

That doesnt mean racist. You have to understand words are not real and can never represent something that is real. People prefer what they see all the time, grew up with and trust. If they dont look like someone they know they trust, they dont trust them and theyre unappealing. Racism isnt natural.

When you define a caporial thing you enculturate a psychotic agnosia for everything else that thing might be. You reduce it in your mind. Codify it. And then forget your codified definition is only your own imagination.

But youre right in that most people are guided by their practiced feeling or outright instincts first and usually only. After that comes choices based on experiences. Few people actually think about things. Thats because thinking about things is unnatural. Its a skill you have to learn and frankly, no one teaches it.

In english something you drink from is a cup. In spanish the same thing is called a taza. So which is it really? Is it a cup, or is it a taza? The truth is that it's neither as it exists independently of you and whatever you want to call it. It may as well just be an aschenbecher.

I wonder what would have happened if she had pulled out her pistol and shot the perp deliberately...after warning him to 'freeze or she would shoot him'?

There have been numerous instances where police have shot perpetrators for lesser/similar reasons in the last year.
https://abcnews.go.com/US/atlanta-police-officer-fired-fatally-shooting-black-man/story?id=77505613

And those police got off massively lighter than this gal did.

I truly believe that the main reason she got charged and convicted of this was that she immediately admitted that she did not mean to shoot him with her service pistol.
And that if she had simply drawn her gun and shot him - deliberately?
Or made the mistake but never admitted it and said she meant to pull/fire her gun?
She would have gotten in FAR less trouble.

If true?
That means that she basically got severely punished for being honest.

Yeah i feel trying the oops factor was a mistake. Cops, dont try that sht.

When you go into a self defense case you have to be certain you had no other choice or that the perp brought it on the.selves. a jury is automatically looking to convict. Any excuse to convict is an excuse they naturally want to use.
