Onzies, I am flattered that you think something Rush said was something I said, but I think he makes a little more money than me, an has a little bigger audience. Logic and reality dictate, you can't take words from Rush's mouth and put them into mine. I said that Rush blamed "the recession" (not the economy) on Obama, based on the decline in the markets. I also blamed the decline in the markets (not the economy) on Obama. Neither of us asked "Why isn't the economy fixed?" ....that is YOUR quote, which started this whole argument.
Now, you were challenged to show where anyone had asked such a question of Obama before he took office, and you failed to provide that. The best you can do, is to parse words and statements, and contort what people have said honestly, about the declining market. (not the economy) This is the original thread you were pwned in, but you weren't happy with that, you had to run off and post in two more threads, which didn't even pertain to the argument, one of which, is a year old. You were pwned in those as well, but since the original point where the argument began, can't be seen there, I guess you thought you could change the argument and pretend you won. Now, I guess you can keep creating new threads, and keep twisting and contorting the commentary to make it appear you've won, but as long as this thread exists, it proves you were pwned. It also proves you are a liar who can't admit when you've been pwned.

Isn't the same as saying:
"Obama had no effect on the economy in late 2008, but he did cause the Recession."

You give him too much credit, he showed Rush pointing out the plunge in the market which indeed pushed us into a recession. Rush (like myself) blamed the market tumble on Obama being elected, but nowhere do I see Rush blaming Obama for the economy or asking why he hadn't fixed it yet. That's something completely different, and apparently, our mentally challenged friend doesn't understand the difference between "the economy" and various elements pertaining to the economy.

Well, one is not a quote, it is a concocted LIE you're telling, claiming it's a quote. I don't need 10 paragraphs to explain why you're a dishonest hack, it's self evident. I pointed out, and later Rush pointed out, that the markets tanked as a result of Obama being elected. The data is there for anyone who wants to look at it, there is no other event or circumstance which would cause the markets to tank as they did, and I even gave you real-life examples of people I knew personally, who bailed on the markets in the wake of Obama. But the markets tanking is not the entire economy, there are a LOT of various elements to the economy other than markets. No one blamed Obama for not "fixing the economy" before he took office. That was the argument here, that was what you were supposed to show, and you haven't.
Translation: there isn't a difference between those 2 quotes. They both mean the same thing.
