We're in the post-truth era, and the right is leading the charge.

Clinton led us to huge prosperity, and Obama to the longest modern recovery. Biden is following suit.

That response is hilarious. It's 100% true, but I get that we're in the post-truth era. I mean, it's all completely verifiable - we have a record of what things were like economically when EVERY Republican President left office.

Denial of reality. It's what the GOP is about these days.

Republican President crashes economy & leaves office w/ Recession. Democrat leads recovery & prosperity.

Police departments aren't separate parts of the city government, but agencies separately responsible for enforcing the criminal law and local ordinances. A mayor who ordered a police chief to
arrest a political rival would be out of bounds and courting his own political ruin. The same is true of the separate relationship between state police and state government.

Nor was Biden, like every President, elected for his expertise on criminal law.
