CBO Warns Republicans That Repealing Health Law Would Increase Deficit By $455 Billion

The Congressional Budget Office is out with a new letter saying that while the health care law could reduce the projected budget deficit by $30 billion in 2020, repealing it would increase the deficit by an estimated $455 billion:

House Republican rules for the 112th Congress exempt all sorts of tax cuts from any requirement that their deficit impact be offset -- including one they jarringly refer to as the "estate tax" (the wha??) -- but they specifically "exempt the budgetary effects of legislation repealing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010."

Well.... If they repeal the portion of Obamacare which isn't paid for until after the 10-year CBO window for calculation of cost, that should take care of it. Wow... that was easy!

The Repubs don't gave a damn about deficits. Every country with government medical results in lower costs. Every one. Not one exception.

The Repubs have absolutely nothing to back up their lying arguments.
 
that wouldn't result from repealing Obama care.....that would result from repealing the cuts to Medicare they imposed to pay for Obama care.....

It was Republican Pete Sessions who used the word 'insurgency'. Because We, the People elected a Democrat to the White House, and that is not to be tolerated by the right wing fascists. For the GOP fascists, the health care debate was never about crafting a bipartisan bill that would help the American people, it was about handing Obama his 'Waterloo'. It was about parroting Frank Luntz talking point LIES to blow up health care reform.
