The election is already over....

Chris Wallace is a Trumper? Judge Nappy is a Trumper? Juan Williams is a Trumper?

Too many people think Fox News begins and ends with Sean Hannity. They are the closest to ‘fair and balanced’ compared to the other cable outlets.

But it’s a fair point about Fox’s ratings secret. But that raises a question: why is Fox alone in being the conservative outlet? No other market operates that way. It’s just the opposite: as soon as Chrysler made the first minivan it was ‘game on’ to see which auto manufacturer could come up with their version of it.

But the news media is ‘uncapitalistic’ in the sense some competitors refuse to compete. Is it because ideology is more important than ratings to some of them?

Sure appears that way.

It is because ratings really don’t matter any more. Not the way they used to for cable.

CNN gets paid regardless of their ratings because of carriage fees. So even if you don’t watch them, a portion of your monthly cable/satellite bill goes into the pockets of CNN

THeir audience is no longer the public. It is the DC establishment and each other

If you want to harm them financially then cut the cord. I did. It’s easy and you won’t miss the garbage

The supposed heating up of the economy has only been helpful to the upper-class. Most Americans are still struggling and about half still can't afford healthcare. I hear billionaires are doing well, though.
for once I agree HC is too expensive -but Trump has allowed cheaper plans. Still the costs are too high.
Other then that though the middle class is not "struggling" -they are making more money then ever with good job prospects

yes......he represents all the hippies from the 60s who never grew out of it.......

What does that mean? Bernie seeks a fairer and more equitable sharing of the wealth American workers have created. Out of the top 29 industrial nations, only one does not t supply universal healthcare. It is the richest one. That money exists in the system. We ship it to the top 1 percent. That can be corrected.
Rightys love a plutocracy. They apparently want to be told what to do by the wealthy. Perhaps they subscribe to the idea that the rich have, that God chose them to have all that money and power. But the left does not understand why rightys vote against their own security and interests so often.
It is way past time to stand up to the plutocrats who are remaking the country for their benefit. It is not for you. They do not care a whit about the masses. And the rightys cannot figure that out.

If 3% is statistically insignificant in a poll, 2.8% doesn’t magically change to a blowout in an election.

This is a good example of media bias. The take home lesson from the popular vote *statistics* is how evenly the country is divided. Or at least was divided, 2016.

Even FOX doesn’t report it that way. But it’s important to ‘a certain narrative’ that Hillary had ‘overwhelming support’ from the people but Trump ‘stole the election with the help of Putin’ so the electoral college needs to go yada yada yada.

You're not speaking scientifically. You only used "statistical tie" because that's what they say about polling & margin of error.

It has zilch to do w/ actual results.

agree with that. but it was a close election.
I expect this one to be as well - it's the nature of our divided electorate.

Any differences will be because of turnout -hard to call because "the kids"have a lot of enthusiasm
but don't usually translate that into voting

I expect Trump to win - but agree it will still be close.

It's almost impossible to lose w/ this kind of economy.

the difference is, you keep saying it was Hilliary's biggest win when she lost........no one cares if 3 million more people from Los Angeles voted for her.....
