There are multiple reasons she lost the election.
Biden took too long, probably 2 years too late, to bow out and give her campaign a chance.
She did not separate herself enough from Biden, especially on immigration and Gaza. Inflation, while little of it was Biden’s fault, hurt.
She’s black. She’s a woman.
A good portion of the American people DID think she could do the job. It appears that many stayed home.
Given all that, my opinion of the average American, regardless of party, is pretty fucking low. George Carlin was right. “Look at the average American’s IQ. HALF of them are stupider than THAT!”

I skipped well over half that year, did a lot of fishing. Now the truant officer, that was a different story.
The county school system was one way, but the county law system was another.

Uhm, with that stuff, tbh, from what I've seen education level is irrelevant. They can still fall sway to the media siren song.
Ofc education quality has gone down steadily since 1976.
I'd pretty much put even money on my grandma, with her 9th grade education, would be on par with at least a bachelor degree today, seriously.
There used to be serious American education standards, and they changed right while I was in school, so I saw what was going on.
I felt it, even. I got the last of the good stuff, and it was all accelerating downhill from there.
When I started school, it was the old style, then after 2 1/2 years, everything changed.
Non-college material students flooded the campus, requirement tests were gone, everybody was accepted and got loans.
Campus population grew 200% from one year to the next. I ended up making money and getting credits for tutoring some of the non-college ready students in a lab. They got taken advantage of, IMO.
I bet 80% washed out and had to pay loans back and ruined their credit.
