No amount of spin, no amount of trying to rewrite history is gonna change the fact, Sir that in a state smothered with devout so called Christians, ie Utah, if anybody should have felt safe, if anybody should have felt comfortable to continued to spew his racist rhetoric it should have been among the Mormons, who are themselves racist or use to be. This wanting to stop liberals from free speech, to harm liberals at all costs....will not end well for anybody in this country. While yall out here trying to make a racist a GOD, our economy is on the brink of complete collapse, our farmers are headed for welfare, wars sanctioned and approved by the US are breaking out all over the planet and Trump and his family are robbing our treasury blind.
While the official stance of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), often called the Mormon Church, condemns racism, its history is marked by racially discriminatory teachings and practices. This has resulted in a complex legacy that still affects the Church and its members today.
The Church's racist history and doctrine
For over a century, the LDS Church restricted full participation for Black people, based on racial theories that it has since disavowed.
