I think it was more the fact that the day after they declared themselves a nation five Arab nations attacked them...and nearly won. Let's not forget this all happened during the Cold War and the Soviets, being antisemitic, supported the Arab nations. Even to this day the most common weapons in the ME are of Soviet origin. Trump said AFTER he "obliterated" Irans nuke program in 2025, that they would be years away from being able to threaten anyone again and yet a few short months later Trump said Iran was a week away from nuking America which is why the US had to attack.
Nothing Biden or Obama did was in play between 2025 "obliteration" and the 2026 War as anything Biden or Obama did was obliterated in 2025.
So Trump lied and you agree. Got it.

Trump then said a few months later in early 2026, Iran was a week away from nuking the US.
You admitted (your point) that Trump was cleaning up Obama and Biden stuff in 2025 and did so with the obliteration.
That means Trump OWNS the 2026 stuff on his own with Iran being just a week from nuking the US, a position they NEVER got close to when Obama and Biden were in power.
So Trump either lied in 2025 or he lied in 2026 and was incredibly weak in 2026 allowing Iran to get to 'one week from nuking the US'.
