Evidently, the idea of logically removing one talking point from the anti-abortion folk is so disturbing to you that you babble sacastically.
By the by....how many children did you personally give birth to? How many kids did you adopt? How much do you give to foster agencies, domestic and/or foreign? What's on your position on day care centers? Welfare? Health care?
Hey Libby if we can do this for abortion, we should be able to do this for all the other non-enumerated programs, like social security and welfare. Shit there are thousands that I'm not interested in- entire departments. If that's the case then I'm all for it!
How about we just sterilize all minorities, no more problem. I would be happy to put a check mark on my IRS form to contribute.
I'm against abortion and for killing babies. The only way I want abortion passed is if we can raise the age limit up to 90 and I get to choose who get aborted.
That's just your DNC opinion. You see, I have a moral problem with funding all Federal programs that aren't specifically enumerated in the Constitution. Now getting to your OP:Ahhh, but you're NOT thinking this through. Abortion falls into 2 categories, medical elective and necessity. Medical necessity is when abortion saves the life of the mother. Social Security and welfare are there to prevent poverty and all the ills that come with that....lack of access to medical, inability to buy food, pay utilities, etc. These keep people from resorting to black market economy and crime, and keeps them in the economic social loop. Remember, if the people who got screwed over by the S&L scandal and then Enron didn't have Soc Sec or Welfare to resort to, they would be literally in the streets, and that's not good.
Okay, one of the major complaints by the anti-abortion folks is that they don't want their tax dollars funding abortions.
My solution: just have an insert in the IRS form that allow filers the option of NOT funding abortion.....it can have a little calculation chart that by which they can figure out what percentage of their earnings should be exempt from taxation.
That way, the objection would totally be on moral grounds...and the debate would have a whole new angle on capitol hill and the public forum.

Did your parents have any children that lived??
Yes, because I was CLEARLY being serious.Abortion is a reality and is legal....has been for awhile. My proposal puts the anti-aboritionist money where their mouths are...literally.

If you're going to try to insult someone, please have some basis in rationality and/or logic when you do.
Obviously, neither you or the Post Modern Prophet can honestly respond to my post. Carry on.

That's just your DNC opinion. No, that's a matter of fact and history that obviously YOU don't want to acknowledge. Any quick google will find you testimonys of people who lost their life savings, retirement nest eggs, etc., in the S&L scandal...as well with Enron. You see, I have a moral problem with funding all Federal programs that aren't specifically enumerated in the Constitution. Oh spare me that old, lame ass right wing crap! Federal regulations for clean drinking water, healthy food, highways, air travel, immuniztions, hospital/doctor standards of treatment, train travel, etc. Since you use one or more of these on a regular basis, that makes you a liar and a hypocrit! Now getting to your OP:

I turn this into:

Yes, because I was CLEARLY being serious.
You haven't demonstrated anything about my dislike of Federal programs that aren't specifically enumerated in the Constitution. I believe they are immoral because they defy the Constitution, the supreme law of the land. All you've done is demonstrate the sheer dishonesty that is rift among many anti-abortionist....when you cannot defend your position using facts and logic, you just fabricate something and try to promote it as truth and the center of discussion. Well, I've demonstrated your dishonesty/ignorance regarding your alleged abhorence of federal programs, so maybe you can try again and tell me what is so wrong about my proposal.

There is no right to kill children.

And after thinking about it, I think that your proposal is fantastic. So much so, in fact, that it should be extended to all Federal programs that aren't specifically enumerated in the Constitution.

There is no simple solution to the abortion issue.
And insurance really only covers rape, incest, etc...
I see no reason that medicaid and other public systems shouldn't cover such abortions. The real question would be whether such systems should give poor women equal access to abortions as rich women. That currently isn't the case.

I have two adopted children, because my wife and I lost two before birth. I do contribute to an orphanage in Lesotho. I believe day care centers should be places where children are cared for while their parents work. I believe welfare should be provided to those who are in need of it. and I believe health care should be available to everyone except you....
as for removing talking points, I am not interested....I am only interested in removing the right to kill children.....
