Texas man’s concealed handgun discharges in elementary school

ROFLMAO. When did I say that? However the windows do have to meet fire code and energy code.
You still haven't explained how you are going to do this with any economy of scale. Care to explain that since every school will be using a local contractor and the windows from school to school will not be the same. All the windows will have to be measured, new windows ordered, then wait for them to be manufactured and shipped before they can be installed.
:rofl2: Man you are truly desperate. How long does it take to measure window that are mostly the same sized in same sized class rooms. Or maybe they could refer to the original construction plans. How long does it take to order a bunch of windows. Oh when you order multiple windows from the same manufacture you can negotiate a lower price per window. The same goes for a contractor that installs a dozen or one that installs a thousand windows.

And as I have already told you many schools have burglar proof glass.

Burgler proof glass is not bullet proof glass. Burgler proof glass can easily replace regular glass. Bullet proof glass can not.

It isn't as simple as measuring. You first have to send the project out for bids before you can select who will be doing the work. You don't seem to know the first thing about how a construction project works. But before you even get to the bidding process you probably have to hire an architect or engineering firm to design and make sure what you are proposing will work and meet all codes.

Economy of scale? Are you going to move all the schools to a central location so the windows can be efficiently installed?

Bullet Proof glass isn't cheap. All those windows have to be manufactured. Installation of windows isn't cheap. It's not like you can just go in and remove the existing double or triple paned glass and replace the existing glass with bullet proof glass. You have to replace all the frames. And the frames are not a standard frame extrusion you can buy from the normal window supply companies.

I am curious how many commercial construction projects you have been involved in. Ever sat in contractor meetings on a construction site? Ever been involved in getting permits for construction? But you just keep pretending you know more about construction than people actually involved in construction if it makes you feel better.

That just shows how fucking ignorant you are to this whole thing. As well as how far off you are on Architectural and Engineering services. STFU dummy. Go collect your welfare check and be satisfied.

Tell me.....DICK, how much are Architectural and Engineering costs for a project? On a percentage basis of the total cost. Put up or shut up welfare boy.

You Know Poopeye, if only you had commonsense enough to keep your mouth shut, the world wouldn't know how foolish you are.

Nice google. Now go back and see how fucking wrong you were with your "pricing". Dick head.

I didn't google my answer. I simply used my own experience.

In the case of small projects, architects usually charge by the hour

I did google the price of bullet proof glass which is about $90 per square foot. Of course that is probably low with the increase in the price of plastic in the last couple of years.

Yeah, let's keep things just the way they are and accept the periodic mass murder of children by nutjob assailant(s) who CHOOSE weapons that were formerly on the 1994 AWB list .... keeps the gun retailers and manufacturers and the flunkies they pay off in Congress happy. Anyone who doesn't like that can leave the country because God forbid some sheet wearing POS like Volsrock doesn't have his phallic symbol of choice.

Take your own advice, you SOS. The rest of the country....INCLUDING LIFE LONG NRA MEMBERS....want improvements on national gun control.

You are full of shit Dick. And the person who gave you a reach around thank you. Go kill yourself. Now would be good.

Let's see.. the shooter is outside and able to see in and shoot through the window. He can shoot everyone that tries to go to the door. Another 30 kids dead. Congratulations on your idiotic idea of how to harden on the cheap.
Windows can have one way reflective film or semi opaque film applied to them. Saves on energy too. Win Win. Problems solved. SRO or teacher shoots the shooter . Problem solved. Win Win.

But you are using burglar proof glass. The film doesn't stop the bullets from going through the glass. Bullets make holes. The film doesn't cover the holes.
