Terrible news for the Creation Science museum (and Republicans)

I wouldn't use the term "creation". But I have always floated the ideas of patterns that have always existed. For example, the structures of molecules and atoms. How they are arranged. That's mathematical and doesn't change. It is just there.

Does math exist or is it a human invention? That's the question.

Math is a human invention to understand reality. It's a tool. The nature of our Universe remains constant regardless of human interpretation.

A Qless asshole can tell me he can fly all day long but if he steps off a pier then the constants of our Universe remain constant due to the gravity of the situation.

Math is a way to calculate his fall. Math is a tool for understanding, it can't change his fall.

Think about it this way.... humans invent math, correct? Now will aliens arrive at the same equations elsewhere? Is the number pi the same everywhere and will always be derived everywhere? Think Contact.

The human brain is another area where strictly scientific answers are lacking...

...And it’s no coincidence that ‘math works’.

As JPP proves daily. LOL

Math is a tool. That's like saying "it’s no coincidence" wrenches work on lugnuts. Duh. No shit.

Pi, the Pythagorean theorem, the gravitational constant, the Boltzmann constant are innate dimensionless/unitless properties of reality. So it seems math exists independently of human logic.

The relationship of a circle's circumference to its diameter exists regardless if mankind understands that quirk of our universe or not. Math is a tool for understanding.

IMO, it's egotistical to say man invented fire. We didn't. Mankind found a tool/ means to make fire, a property that pre-existed in our universe and predates man.

Halp me me think me brain is brokened.

a cop out.....abiogenesis is not a scientific reading......your best guess has no more merit than my religious beliefs.....

You edited out the rest of my post where I stated I do not categorically rule out the possibility divine providence played a role in biological emergence. Maybe it did.

I have consistently attempted to train my mind from shutting off any possibilities for emergence, in spite of your attempts to write responses to what you wish I wrote.
