She's definitely not in a supportive home, and we know that LGBTQ kids who aren't in supportive homes are far more likely to attempt suicide than kids who are.

Sure. Kids reach the age where they are embarrassed by their parents. That would typically result in an eye roll, or other minimal reaction.
That reaction was one of revulsion. For whatever reason
I mean, there's a ton of literature and research from the AAP and the Trevor Project that keeps showing supportive homes for LGBTQ teens means they are far less likely to attempt suicide than LGBTQ teens who are in abusive homes.
While true that not ALL teen suicides are LGBTQ-related, many are and it's always the same pattern...kid attempts suicide after growing up in a home that is unsupportive or hostile to their sexual identity.
Or, the kid runs away and lives on the street where they not only are at high risk of suicide, but homicide and drug addiction.
It's so fucking sad and tragic that people like Flash would rather defend Ted Cruz' shit parenting than the kid who attempted suicide because of him.

Had Hunter Biden gotten therapy as a child, who knows what would have happened to him as an adult? But it sounds like he's in therapy now, which is great.
Everyone should be in therapy. It's so useful.
