A high school English teacher is accused of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a male student.

Alyssia Marie Reddy was arrested in Maryland and charged with institutional sexual assault and unlawful contact with a minor, according to NBC.

According to investigators, the 28-year-old teacher gave a 16-year-old student her cell phone number and then added the teen on Snapchat.

The victim told police that he received a message from Reddy saying, "I want your hands on me."

The teen said she picked him up from a friend's house and drove him to a nearby park where they had sex.

A Wisconsin teacher was arrested for having a six-month sexual relationship with an underage student — which allegedly included motel stays, sexting and professions of love for one another, according to reports.

Samantha Fitzpatrick, 28, was charged with child enticement and sexual assault of a student Wednesday and faces a maximum of 35 years in prison and a $130,000 fine, local station WBAY reported.

The former Ripon High School teacher started the months-long relationship with a student when he was 16, according to a complaint.

Cops received a call from another teacher at the school saying she had information about an “inappropriate relationship” between a high school student and an educator.

Another teacher told cops she’d often see the victim in Fitzpatrick’s classroom and that she’d heard rumors from students about the two having sex.

The teen allegedly told friends that he was late to a party because he was “at Fitzpatrick’s and had just had sex with her.”

A student also told cops the victim and Fitzpatrick had “done stuff” in a local hotel room and that he’d given the victim rides to a gas station where the pair reportedly met up.

Police found 67 phone calls to the student on Fitzpatrick’s phone along with Facebook messages that included exchanges of sexually explicit photos, graphic texts and expressions of love.

A teacher at Memorial High School in West New York was arrested by East Rutherford police and charged with drug possession.

East Rutherford police responded to Kenneth Furlong's residence at Monarch Apartments for an unknown incident, said Chief Dennis Rivelli.

Following an investigation, Furlong, 24, is facing several drug charges, including possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance cocaine, possession of marijuana over 50 grams.

Allen Blankenship was arrested and released on the same day, according to his booking sheet at the Gwinnett County Jail.

CBS46 has reached out to the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office, and was told more information would be provided later.

Blankenship is a science teacher at Brookwood High School.

Tracy Wayne Crosby, 42, now has a reckless conduct - HIV infected person charge against him, according to the Camden County Sheriff's Office jail log.

Action News reported that a 16-year-old's mom caught Crosby with her child in a compromising position.

Crosby is also under federal indictment for soliciting underage sex, child trafficking and child pornography.

A first-grade teacher at Theuerkauf Elementary School was arrested by Santa Clara police on multiple sexual assault charges.

Santa Clara resident Bryan Rios, 36, was arrested on charges including forced sodomy and forced oral copulation, according to the Santa Clara Police Department.

Rios is a teacher at Theuerkauf Elementary who was reportedly put on paid administrative leave.

A second-grade teacher has been arrested and charged with child molestation, according to Hart County Sheriff Mike Cleveland.

Brandon Cannon, 28, was arrested at his home, Cleveland said.

The Hart County School District posted a message on its Facebook page on Thursday that the the Georgia Bureau of Investigation notified them that allegations had been made against a teacher.

The post said the allegations included inappropriate conduct with school-age children.

A Hernando County teacher was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor battery after deputies said he was accused of inappropriately touching a student.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, deputies reviewed classroom surveillance video and arrested Kevin Thomas Moglia, 61.

According to the arrest report, the student told deputies that he immediately started yelling and left the classroom to tell school administrators what happened. He also said he was offended by Moglia’s actions.

The victim contacted the Sheriff’s Office, according to the report. Moglia told deputies he intended to apologize but never had the chance.

When asked why the school did not report the incident to law enforcement, principal Toni-Ann Noyes declined to comment to the Tampa Bay Times. The Hernando County School District also declined to comment, noting the ongoing investigation.

A teenager is speaking out after she says authorities did nothing after she reported her eighth grade teacher touched her when she attended Granite Falls Middle School.

The same teacher, Justin Biggs, has been arrested after multiple accounts of indecent liberties with girls from another middle school.

She is one of seven students who have come forward about Biggs, sparking an investigation by the Granite Falls Police Dept.

The police department says they didn't arrest him in 2015 due to lack of evidence.

Biggs was arrested on Dec. 5. His first court date is Dec. 8.

A teacher accused of taking a school computer was arrested and charged with burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sharon Easterly-Meggison denies the accusations and contends she took the computer home to clean it up.

She was placed on paid administrative leave after school officials suspected she had violated the district’s alcohol- and drug-free workplace policy, noted district spokesman Kevin Christian.

The arrest comes after Gary Smallridge, principal of Fort King Middle School, notified Easterly-Meggison via email that she needed to turn in her keys and not return to the Fort King campus without a school escort.

In his email, Smallridge told the 50-year-old woman that someone from the administrative team needed to be with her when she picked up her personal belongings from her classroom; he asked her to choose an 8 a.m. or 4 p.m. time to arrive. Easterly-Meggison sent an email to the principal noting she would set a time to meet with him. Easterly-Meggison sent another email noting that she would resign.

Jordan Ondish, 24, was apprehended by cops after another teacher claimed to find the x-rated messages on the students mobile phone.

Police documents said the teacher had sex with her victim more than once in the classroom.

Ondish has been charged with institutional sexual assault.

Two elementary school teachers were charged with possession and suspended and a third teacher was put on administrative leave following accusations they used marijuana inside the school.

Someone told police three teachers regularly smoked marijuana and hashish together in the physical education office at Taylor Elementary School in Arlington, according to court documents. They smoked before school started and tried to use air freshener to cover the scent, the informant said.

Police executed two search warrants at the school – one inside the school and one for a car.

PE teachers Luke Lloyd, 25, and Michael Diaddigo, 28, are charged with possession of marijuana and were suspended from the school.

A teacher in an adult education program was arrested for allegedly having sex with a developmentally disabled student, police said.

Daniel Gonzalez, 55, a teacher in the program offered through the Mt. Diablo Unified School District’s Adult Education Department, had sex with a student who was of age but had the intellectual capacity of a young teenager and thus is incapable of consent, police said.

The initial report came from the Loma Vista Adult Center, and during the course of the investigation, police identified Gonzalez, who was immediately placed on an administrative leave, police said.

Detectives arrested Gonzalez and he was booked into the Martinez jail on $2 million bail. The case is pending review by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office, police said.

A high school math teacher in Charleston, South Carolina, was arrested for engaging in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.

Jennifer Danielle Olajire-Aro, 27, faces one count of sexual battery with a student 16 or 17 years of age, according to court records.

This was Aro’s first year teaching pre-calculus and algebra at Burke High School, where she also coached tennis. Aro was arrested after the unidentified student revealed his sexual encounter with Aro to another teacher, reported The Post and Courier.

Aro appeared in court on Tuesday, where she was given a $100,000 bail and ordered not to have any contact with the victim, his family or students at the school. Aro is also not allowed to leave the state without permission from the 9th Circuit Solicitor's Office.

According to her attorney, J. Kevin Holmes, Aro has a family at home.

"She is married," he told the Post and Courier. "Her husband is a student at the Medical University of South Carolina [in] the residency program. She has a 10-month-old baby, a girl."

Once the victim told another teacher about his relationship with Aro, she was reported. Soon after, Aro admitted to engaging in "an intimate and sexual relationship with her 17-year-old male student" on three occasions between November and December at her residence, according to an arrest affidavit.

A Polk County teacher has been arrested for domestic violence, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Auburndale Central Elementary School teacher Holly Seckinger, 44, of Bartow, was arrested for an incident that happened on Tuesday. Deputies say that the incident began as a verbal domestic argument and turned physical when Seckinger intentionally threw a metal chair at the victim, striking the victim.

A Bronx teacher was arrested for allegedly persuading a 12-year-old student to send him photos and videos of herself naked, police say.

Ryan Evans, 28, is also accused sending the girl videos of his genitals and of kissing and groping her while meeting with her after school this week at the 161 Street - Yankee Stadium subway station.

Evans was arrested on a number of charges, including acting in a manner injurious to a child, sex abuse and promoting child pornography.
