Nothing is wrong with believing the mathematical fact that one is indivisible by three without producing a remainder.

LLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL OMG THIS IS HAPPENING AGAIN THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF ALL TIME

1/3rd goes in, 1/3rd goes out. you can't explain that.

dixie is bill oriely. lock it up

No one has argued that 12 divided by 3 isn't 4! I never claimed any such crazy-assed thing! This is a PRIME example of what happens in a pinhead mind, when they read something I post! You just hear shit that isn't there! I can't explain it, never seen anything like it before in my life.... this is a really simple thing... ONE can not be divided into 3 parts, without producing a REMAINDER! Now, I don't give a flying fuck if we post 50,000 more threads about this, or 50,000 more pinheads line up to chuckle at me over my intellect... you STILL won't be able to divide ONE into THREE parts, without producing a REMAINDER! Because MATH is MATH! It CAN'T be ARGUED!

"... ONE can not be divided into 3 parts, without producing a REMAINDER..."

I can divide ONE pie, cake, or similar item into 3 parts; without producing a remainder.

Inches are a man made unit of measure. I never claimed that something can't be divided into thirds, or that what we divide into thirds can't be presumed to be equal thirds. Those are claims you think I have made, but they only exist inside your pinheaded mind. "33 1/3" is not defined as a value. We presume it to be "1/3" and the remainder value is assumed by one of the three parts. Again, I refer you to the simple math problem above... fill in the blank with a defined value, and you win! You've proven me wrong! Until you can do that, you haven't proven me wrong, and you can't... math is math.

I remember you SPECIFICALLY talking about cutting up slices of cake you LYING RETARD. I know you are embarrassed about how stupid you were/are, but it's time to man up, I'm sorry, but all 20 other people in this thread aren't wrong, you are.

We also remember when you talked about jesus talking to you in the shower about your business deals.

Nope, never talked to Jesus. Never claimed I talked to Jesus.

I don't care what you remember, seems to me, you remember shit that was never said, A LOT! What? Did I say you can't cut a cake into thirds? Is that what your retarded ass heard me say? I wouldn't be a bit surprised!

There are three possibilities.

1.) Dixie is as stupid as he portrays.

2.) Dixie is a total liar.

3.) Both.

No answer is more valid than another.

It is impossible to have three defined equal values to comprise 1. We can get close... .333333e is the value for 1/3, but the little "e" is a placeholder value, it goes on for eternity.

It doesn't go on for eternity. It doesn't take eternity to represent an infinite amount of numbers. Every second can be divided into an infinite amount of parts, that does not keep time from passing.

You have basically reinvented Zeno's paradox in a very strange way, Dixie. But this kind of mathematical question was solved hundreds of years ago.

Again:

lim n-> ∞ [n Σ k = 1 (3/10^k)]

Perfectly mathematically valid. Does not take an eternity to calculate. If we KNOW that every nth digit in .33333... is going to be another 3, we can just say that, and treat it as a rational number. It's perfectly valid. It's the same for every repeating decimal in every base of number. Including trinary, where ratios like 0.5 are actually infinite repeating decimals and 0.333333.... can be represented as 1/2.

Read up about Zeno's paradox.

No answer is valid!

1.) Dixie is a double-major in Psychology and Business Management. (3.85 GPA)

2.) Dixie has no need to lie.

3.) None of the Above.

When you divide 1 into 3 parts, a remainder is produced... STILL the case! Sorry Pinheads, wish I could do something about that pesky remainder, and make it all work out evenly for you, but I can't... it's there... it exists. You can ignore it, your friends and allies can ignore it, and you can ridicule me for as long as you like, for pointing it out... but it's still there. Oh fucking well?
