Actually, no, it was true for many folks who got subsidies that ended up reducing their costs.
The most famous example is Julie Boostra. You know who she is, right? She's the fat, ugly, diseased GOP sow who the Koch Bros put in a political ad where she claimed Obamacare caused her premiums to be unaffordable. Well, after doing just the slightest digging, it turned out that Boonstra was lying her fat, ugly, diseased GOP sow ass off. Not only did Obamacare not cause her premiums to go up, but her insurance company told her that she would be saving $2,400 a year thanks to the ACA.
Her response?
"I choose to not believe that".
So even when you are caught in your lies, you refuse to admit you lied. And you just go and lie some more.
So if Julie Boonstra, who had the sense (?) to not remain anonymous and pretend to be an Obamacare victim was lying, why wouldn't you -or any Conservative for that matter- also be lying about Obamacare?

Right, but the difference is that I don't give a shit what you do about me because I'm secure in my personal circumstances. I don't have a need to posture on the internet. But you do have that need because you're insecure.
That's why this whole conversation is idiotic because the thing I'm asking you to do, you're going to go about doing it in the most inconvenient way. Why not just save both of us the trouble and verify who you are now, that way we can certify if your claims about yourself are true?

You are admitting you don't even pay for your health care. You say it's "part of your compensation"...which means someone else is paying for it, not you. So this whole time, you've been screeching about paying for other people's health care when that is precisely what is happening with you.

Not real sure how you can claim someone that wasn't paying anything before claiming they couldn't afford coverage is paying less if they're paying even a part of it now.
What you support is someone low income, poor freeloader getting something they didn't earn subsidized by those you think have too much not giving a shit how much it costs them. At least be honest about it.

The use of implementing a tariff is directly connected to the desire to force our trade partners to the bargaining table. That is contrasted to past administrations (Bush the younger and Obama) who failed to do anything. The aristocracy? lame. Capitalism offers the best possible pathway for an individual to gain wealth. leveraging what people already do, consume, against creating what they consume, labor- is the natural course of living. Regulating that activity against corruption is a given, but government should never be picking winners and losers (crony capitalism) which Obama most certainly tried to do, and what many of our congress critters do with their lobbyists.
