Soul Searching for Libs

Wrong. A law against trading with totalitarian states, and more legislated protectionism is exactly what the country needs. And if "multinationals" don't like it, they can screw off and we will re bootstrap all our own industries anew, without them.
So you're an isolationist; an ostrich. :)

No, i'm not. But free trade means the right to say no to trade relations which erode human rights and incentivize dictatorship. Just like saying no to ivory, or apartheid. Trade relations is something that has a long history of usage as a political tool, domestically and internationally, and rightly so.

it's inhuman to not put trade policy inside a moral context. You are an evil person for your beliefs.

That's why eliminating corporate taxes and putting tariffs on cartels should be done to level the playing field. You and I probably want the same thing, but you see the government being a savior and I see it for what it is, part of the problem.

no. you're a moron and im not. That's the real difference here.

Taxes won't make up for 10 cent per hour labor either.

But they want government workers who live at a subsistence level, and are coming to bust the government unions. And obama will help them.

Unions have overreached and asked for too much, but it's also unions which enabled the american middle class.

The libertarian neocon version of a rising tide lifting all ships, only appears to be true because unions and regulations have been part of our history, not despite them.

or it could simply be that the bankers were willing to capitalize a middle class for a generation or two so many people would actually believe fascist lies.

I can't get over how you reason things.

Isn't this change you can believe in?

How ironic.

Last I looked, Texas is still part of the US. Therefore Texas Corporations are still subject to a 35% tax on income. That's after they pay their employee's FICA.

Liberty, you suck at arguing. Your points are unrelated to the issues at hand, orthogonal and tangential, stupid and unworthy of response. Survey says, X.

I agree that protecting the U.S. from multinational bloodsuckers is the only way to save this country. But I can hear the carny barkers on Faux news screaming about socialism, communism and death and doom already. And most wingnuts here will fight tooth and nail to save corporations profits at their own expense.

I believe in letting unions stand on their own. Without taking my money,,,,,,,, against my will,,,,,,,, keeping them up and running.

It looks like this fictitious middle class that you and AssMat keep talking about, is made off of my back. Off of my dime.

You don't have a leg to stand on.

You keep coming up short, and this is the best you can say.

I'm sure you've told us before, but who did you vote for in 2008? (Pres)

You,,, a Jew hating, Mexican hating, racist, think that people can't see you for what you are? You're an evil person if you ask me AssMat.

I look at SM trying to have an intelligent conversation with you, and you show no ability in doing so. Just hate comes from you.

I'm told unions are great in North Korea. Very good border control. Maybe you could check those guys out. They seem like a perfect fit for someone like you.

Yeah, just like all global governance proposals are the solution to all global problems. cap n trade green jobs are the solution to outsourced jobs etc. You;re caught in a neocon lie spiral like that, where tax cuts is always the key to nirvana. Get a grip, dillhole.

Again, more hate at the end AssMat.

This seems to be a pattern with you.

Liberty has officially replaced me as the Lord over Asshate. I play around too much, and am often far to subtle and club-mannered, but Liberty goes right for the Adam's Apple and calls the prick out. Spot on, fellow!!
