Solution to all the world's problems: wind power

It's not the solution, nothing says we shouldn't have wind power, solar power, and whatever else kind of power we can find to be more planet friendly.
But you still need fossil fuels, and the US being out front of that fact shows a grip on reality.

Sure, it's a rich tapestry that makes a great rug, but we should favor the clean to the filthy, carbon loading sources if we can.

No retard.

All life in earth is fueled by the Sun.
Fucking mo.

No reason to argue with someone who denies the scientific basis of climate change. That horse left the barn. It's settled science. No better than people who argue rapid man made climate change is good.

Another point to be made is that the arguments that you need a lot of dirty energy to make green energy is circular. Once we become dependent on the green energy, we no longer need the dirty energy to make the parts. When the thing that makes the things that makes the things is green, it's game set match and these oily naysayers are gone forever.

The feedback loops that your chicken little predictions are based on, are NOT settled science. :palm:

Have to laugh at this, I wonder if it is from Micawber?Actually it is far more likely to be somebody like Dumber69!!

Becoming dependent on green energy ( for at least the next 30 years or so) will require no one drives, no cell phones, no computers, limited lighting in your home, limited food at the stores, no air conditioning, limited heat for northerners, etc, etc. Basically everything a "green" person like you could not live without. Truly going green in this country would require personal sacrifice and inconvenience. Something you, personally, would never do. A wise person would realize the reality of this consumer driven, spoiled society and learn to give and take until technology can match the insane amount of energy needs that the average American requires.

I was reading about automobiles and how many felt they would never replace horses. It took a few years, but look at us now!

And that's it in a nutshell. Common sense. Except that equating "going green" and "green energy" with renewable energy is a misnomer. Burning fossil fuels makes things greener. Like deserts, e.g.

Maybe we can go back to that and use the horseshit to generate gas to cook with?

Horseshit is a poor candidate for methane generation, cowshit or in your case in particular bullshit works much better.
