solid proof of evolution

I can neither help you, nor do I feel inclined to spend the time, addressing your lack of education and scientific illiteracy.

If you are genuinely interested in self-enlightenment and self-improvement, National Geographic would be a highly reputable source on evolution.

In other words, you can't provide the proof and you want to blame your inadequacies on me. Typical of your kind.

One thing I have learned during my message board adventures, is that there are a shitload of Republicans that do not accept evolution.

And for these ignoramuses, I can only recommend a visit to the Creation Science Museum in Kentucky, where they can learn about early humans and their dinosaur friends.

I swear, many of these Creationist Believers believe that way because they're afraid not to. They think if they don't believe everything in the Bible, they'll be cast down to hell. All of the scientific evidence in the world won't change their minds. Same with Climate Change.
When you think about it, Christianity gives them carte blanche to live their lives any way they want to and still "be saved". As long as they continue to claim to "believe in the Lord" they'll be forgiven. "Don't worry about it. Sin all you want. I'll forgive you and provide you with a 'Get into Heaven free' card". Pretty good deal when you think about it. Where do I sign up?
No wonder Christianity attracts so many racists and rednecks.

THey have one in Santee California, and I know a guy who takes his many kids there.

How do you know that this is the only planet that life formed (not evolved) on? If life had formed on a different planet, and not here, and evolved into intelligent life forms, would they be arguing that there must be a higher power at work?

How do you know there isn't on other planets and don't worship a higher power?

Well, it's not, but that's not what the Bible says happened and not what Christians insist must have happened.

Please show me anything that says the bible was written by God and therefore is 100% accurate. The bible was written by man and is subject to interpretation, I'm a Christian and I understand that man interpreted folk lore about the beginnings of the earth, life and events.

Fundamentalists claim the bolded all the time. Not that it was actually written by God, but that every word is from God & to be taken literally.

The Bible is an amazing historical document. I wish some would look at it in the context of the time period it was written & who the contributors were.

Why don't you try looking at it in a theological manner instead of the incorrect secular manner in which you view it. It might open your eyes to reality.

There are those that take everything literally. Look at the idiots from the Westborough Baptist Church that disrupt military funerals because of their interpretation of the Bible.

still waiting for one of you to describe a way to falsify (in principle) the claim that man evolved from a single celled creature.....

actually that’s another ground rule of science. All knowledge is tentative.

You're absolutely right....there is no proof....and the absence of proof proves nothing....either way...maybe, humans, as a group, can not believe that things just happen. There must be an underlaying cause. Whose to say they are right or wrong.....

There is no proof of life other than on this planet either but I'd guess many men of science believe there is life elsewhere....
Belief in life on other planets is based on a rational extension of what we already know. Belief in gods is based entirely on wishful thinking. Again, the premise is that there is an omnipotent god who wants us to believe in him, but provides absolutely no evidence of his existence. The only rational conclusion is that no such beast exists.

Of course, if you read about the judgment in Matthew 25, faith doesn't matter. All that matters is how we treat others.
