Socialism does not put people first. It puts the majority first. You cannot put people first that's why socialism always fails spectacularly. People are different from one another and they have different needs and different desires. If Americans wanted trump’s policies, they would have kept trump. They didn’t. Sucial Security, Medicare, and food stamps, all instruments of socialism are the only things keeping millions of senior Americans ALIVE, AND HAVE BEEN DOING SO since 1935. Not all, but millions. The socialist security program is the most successful and popular domestic program in American history, but Americans don’t really know much about history, so let’s talk about today in terms of your Lone Ranger libertarian fantasies. Exactly how do you protect yourself and family from the virus by yourself? How about YOU CANNOT. If the virus is to be defeated it must be done collectively. No brainer. What is not popular are libertarian ideas and it’s political party, which gets about 4% of the vote. contrary to mythology, individuals did not build this country, collectivism did and without the mechanisms of collectivism which built many of Americans institutions, this nation would be much worse off, particularly its children and elderly.

You don’t have to like it, don’t even have to acknowledge the mechanisms of collective thought and action .. until you need them, and you will. Did your parents need it? Of course they did. Some failure.

Prince Otto was Hitler's role model. Hitler's national socialism was modeled after Otto's (and emperor Wilhelm's) monarchy, that Hitler so loved, and fought for in WWI.

Due to life expectancy differences, the average Black man collects 5 years worth of SS while the average White woman collects 15 years of SS. That doesn't sound like "justice and equality" to me. :dunno:
