the fact that as of March 6, when trump did not want 21 covid passengers and crew to debark from a cruise ship into the country, because it would DOUBLE THE CASES....shows however badly china screwed up, if trump had done his job, and promoted masks and social distancing and provided enough testing and contact tracing in mid march when we had under 2 dozen cases in this country, we would never have hospitals overflowing, schools having to be shut down, the whole economy locked down, and 270,000 dead Americans in just 9 months.

Yup, I saw the antibody study on that but I didn’t save it.

For months I’ve been saying the virus was almost certainly here in December and maybe even sooner because it was practically impossible for it not to be. There was unchecked immigration from WuHan to here during the time China and the WHO were saying there was no human to human transmission.

At that point we were screwed. If there was community spread in December *it did not matter* who was President, what the president was saying or what they did or didn’t do.

By January we had already hit the iceberg.

not at all, idiot. when less than 1% of the country, way less, way way way way way less, way less, way fucking less, of the country or any part of the country is infected, then common sense masking and social distancing and testing and contact tracing measures can ISOLATE the small number of infected, and even mitigate how much they can spread if they are out in public if we wear masks and have social distancing, and keep that incredibly small number of infected people from exponentially multiplying across our society, like trump allowed to happen. how can you have your head so far up Trump's fat ass and still type?
