So now we need a Ballroom?

Wrong, in fact, no one knows where the money is coming from, it’s all “Trump says”

I guess if you believe what a pathological liar says is true, no taxpayer money is involved, but keep in mind this same guy said he would never play golf is elected President along with over 20,000+ documented lies
You keep saying this. One thing we know, it isn't coming from government appropriations. Schumer has shut that down... I hope he keeps holding his breath and hoping AOC won't primary him... then she does it anyway. This is all just fun.

We got archives saying, "we don't know"... and then pretending he has evidence by saying there's lies... All I know. If we pay for this thing, I'll be here telling you it sucks and we shouldn't pay for it, but as for now and as long as we are not I do not care at all, and believe it will be a benefit in the end.

Again. Paid for by private folks cost to the taxpayer $0. Renting tents, providing security (easily violated, if you remember the two crashers at the Obama's first outdoor event), etc. cost to the taxpayer $actualmoney...

I'll take 0 vs anything at all....

Regardless. renovating the WH to add a large event venue is something that has been needed for a long time. That it is getting finished now at no cost to me... I am good with that. And, yes, I would be good with it if a democrat paid for it without taking my money to pay for it too....

He's already been told. I even posted a breakdown of the costs involved in continuing to use tents.

As Jonathan Swift said,

Is that so? Link up.

The fact is that cumulatively, the ongoing costs of reinstalling, installing tents and infrastructure and then dismantling all of it again will eventually cost the taxpayers more than the ballroom, which ain't hard to understand, because the ballroom isn't publicly funded.
How do you know the ballroom isn’t publicly funded? The only one claiming such is Trump, and no one has even seen the plans yet

Keep saying it because it is true, even documented it for you, there’s plenty of others if you need them

And if all you have to go on is “Trump says” your a damn fool to think that there aren’t lies involved

Nah, you keep saying it because you wish it were true. All you have is how you suspect Trump of somehow lying. It's weak, it makes you look foolish.

Architectural plans and renderings exist for the proposed new White House State Ballroom addition to the East Wing announced on July 31, 2025, by the Trump administration.

The ballroom is designed to blend with the White House's neoclassical style, featuring elements like chandeliers, ornate columns, and bulletproof glass walls. It will extend beyond the current East Wing into the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden area, modernizing the wing while preserving historical themes. The architect firm McCrery Architects PLLC is handling the design, and Clark Construction leads the build.
  • Artistic renderings were made public in late July 2025 alongside the announcement, showing exterior elevations, interior layouts, and site diagrams. Additional detailed renderings emerged in September 2025, illustrating the ballrooms' layout, seating arrangements, and integration with the existing structure. These depict a hall with high ceilings, symmetrical design matching the mansion's portico, and expanded event spaces.
  • Blueprints/Technical Plans: Full engineering blueprints and construction documents have been developed internally for the project for the use of the construction team. Dissemination is governed by broader federal classification guidelines, White House protocols, and interagency coordination. The US Secret Service (USSS) ensures that any released materials do not compromise security and protective operations.
Publicly-available renderings can be found on official White House updates (whitehouse.gov/visit) and news outlets like See-BS News, USA Today, and Fox News. These include 3D visualizations but stop short of detailed blueprints.

They are going to use the heck out of that ballroom...and the rest of an updated, renovated structure...

I posted a partial list of the donors earlier...more to come later...
No taxpayer money is involved...

Except that it has created jobs, and without the taxpayers footing the bill.

What are you bitching about?
He/she/alphabet is pissed that Trump came up with the idea.
Orange man bad and all that rubbish.
I just heard a far lefties radio talking chimp swear Trump will stay in office for two more terms.
From his lips to God's ear.

Tearing down a poor quality WWII-era renovation of the White House and updating it to meet present day needs is a perfectly normal thing for a president to do.

I keep saying it because it is true, no one knows, those are the facts, if you won’t accept the facts provide something that proves those facts erroneous, otherwise, you are the one looking foolish

22 or $24 million from trump’s YouTube settlement. Ha!

You don't need to see them, do you?
I don’t nor do you, but any remodeling to any historical building in DC is suppose to first supply plans to the National Capital Planning Commission plus several other agencies

And to make it even more of laugher, Trump again said before it began that it would not touch any of the existing structure, which we all know was another Trump lie given the photos of the demo are everywhere

You keep saying it because you believe that if you lie often enough someone will believe you.
