In part, I think the concept of Hell is recognition of the dichotomy of the Universe. Up/Down, Hot/Cold, Male/Female. If there's a Heaven, then there must be a Hell, right? :)

IMO, people like Trump may not suffer as others would like, but they are not happy people. Happy people don't hate. Happy people don't constantly blame others for their plight. Happy people are content, not continually hungry for more of anything.

If a happy person is living in bliss (Heaven), then isn't an unhappy person living in a personal Hell? This is why I encourage all the unhappy people on JPP, typically the MAGAts, to fix their problems so that they might find bliss. This might be seeking solace in religion, mental health care or taking the off-ramp to a better existence.

All of which makes me doubt her claims.

OTOH, as previous discussions have mentioned, it's possible that she suffered some sort of mental misfortune due to disease, injury or dementia thus severely handicapping her previous training/abilities.

@Matt Dillon famously declared himself to be Mensa material even though his present behavior and abilities make that highly unlikely these days. 50 years ago? Who knows?

Same goes for @T. A. Gardner, a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer who continues to display the behavior of a snotty teenager. IMO, it's a clear sign of elderly dementia.

TBH, I'm loving the tech.

Yes, there's a dark side to is and our laws are still a decade or two behind the tech. I'm hopeful that our nation is at the bottom of a cycle and that, as a nation, we'll move forward in unison again.

The way it learns. These days it's learning from fake stuff people used it to create just for starters. Plus it can't tell real info from fake and is so "eager to please" that it will tell you what it thinks you want to hear vs what is real and the AI hallucination thing is a lot more prevalent than anyone admits as well.

It's new tech. It's not like they'll let it control all of the nuclear weapons or defense systems without assurances it will work as designed.

OTOH, the laser shootdown of a border patrol drone is interesting. Was that human error or AI? :thinking:

Yet that seems to be what the pentagon under the DUI hire wants. That's why they cut ties with their previous supplier Athropic. They said it wasn't safe for things like that yet and refused to allow the use of their programs for things like that.n

Agreed that the Trump administration is more likely to push risk in anticipation of profitable results. No doubt the Tech Lord investors want it but the lawyers are the ones hesitating due to liability. :)

One of the upsides of being such a litigious nation. LOL

LOL I know, right? Still, either he's so far gone he's actually gone around the bend or he's telling the truth but suffered some calamity between then and 40-50 years later.

Terry's conduct would not allow him to be a Navy Chief or pass 20 years of service. While brain trauma could be a causal factor, but given his deterioration over the past few years, I'm thinking dementia.

John Bradford springs to mind.
