This. Republicans have made no effort to pass legislation. Unless it marginalizes some minority.

And sadly, it took brain cancer for McCain to vote against taking healthcare away from millions of people

Gingrich came up with the 'monkeys flinging shit' method of governance, and it's worked nicely for the party.

Agree 100% about cashing out. She knows that she's done.

I don't think being an Indie will stop funding from coming in, though. Granted, with 51 non Republican seats she's not in the same position.

But she gets paid to gum up the works, and as long as she continues to do that until she's tossed, are you saying that there will be no money for her next run?

Sure, she'll be able to milk some people for money but, in modern American politics, unless she has a D or an R after her name, she won't have the power and funding for succeeding in politics.

Consider why both the Pauls and Trump switched parties to the Republican Party. More money there. Same for the Democrats.
