"silencing people is what happens in China" (Nikki Haley)

And there is no way to silence conservative voices without engaging in censorship.

Big Tech can do what it likes. Legally, censorship refers to the government suppressing dissent, and by using the corporate friends of their party to do the dirty work, even the DEMOCRATS in the government are not violating anyone's rights.

You also don't have a right to access the internet at all, and soon that's likely to be the fate of those who resist the new regime.

Censorship in the colloquial sense is still censorship.

"silencing people is what happens in China" (Nikki Haley). True. And cannot be argued against.

In Red China, political opponents whom the regime wants to silence are imprisoned and/or murdered, Cap'n. They don't just lose access to social media.

Of course, I have seen several leftists apparently advocating for both of those "solutions" in the US, so there's that.

Nobody has been "silenced". A corporation decided that some users cannot use their platform any longer. They don't need to justify their decision.

Conservatism existed before social media, and it will survive without social media.

I question whether social media was ever a venue for political discussion, anyway. I'm pretty sure it's for socializing and entertainment.

Now it's raining dogs and cats! :whoa:
