It's a privilege, not a right
No.
It's a privilege, not a right
You should fucking have a 5 year old read my original post, and perhaps you'll see what I really said.life without fucking parole? are you kidding me? So you honestly see someone having a gun without a permit as the equivalent to a serial rapist and mass murderer?
you should fucking kill yourself. you are scum.
It's a privilege, not a right
You wouldn't need a permit if it were a right. You have the 'right' to own a rifle.
...
You must infer he thinks handguns should be banned because they are useless for hunting, the only legitimate purpose for gun ownership.
Incorrect. Go change your diaper.it's a fucking right you idiot. it's a fucking amendment.

Incorrect. Go change your diaper.
Then why do you need a permit for a handgun?Yeah, you're wrong. Hence the "no".
See above. You have the 'right' to own a rifle

Because your state doesn't require it. So states that do, are denying rights?I don't.
State by state issue.Nope. Handguns and long guns are bought and registered in the same manner if things are done on the up and up. Every time, for instance, in OK, the OSBI is contacted for an immediate background check. My SSN is used to check my criminal background and I answer a questionnaire with various questions about my mental health and citizenship... The firearm is then registered in leaningright's name. That's the process every time. I've bought 6 firearms in the last 10 months. Same thing every time. No permits to own either type. I have not forfeited my rights via breaking the law thus I maintain my right to make such purchases and own the firearms.

State by state issue.
Do states that require permits, deny constitutional rights?

I'd support any measure of any kind that puts restrictions on guns, what could be the downside?
