For the most part...YOUR FREEDOM is something that has been granted to you by people long dead...people who made tremendous sacrifices to obtain those freedoms for you and people who would be mortified and angered by how you assholes are treating the gift they gave you.

But I can see that we can learn some things from socialism that can improve our system. The assholes on the right are blind to that.

No "drivel" there at all, IHA, but I see that I did leave out the "t" in the word "the."

Thanks for pointing that out. I try to be careful, but we all make mistakes. I made one there...and I'll leave it.

People are now calling for an 18 year term limit on SC judges to prevent travestries like ruthie. That's not enough. As long as judges insist on writing laws, they should be elected. Say every two years like members of the House.

I suspect more are "calling for it" in order to prevent travesties like Clarence Thomas...than RBG.

In any case, the 18 year term limit seems reasonable to me...although there is lots to be said for experience.

In any case, I doubt anything like that will happen anytime soon.
