That's a great point. There are far more good reasons for security at schools than having an armed person with lots of firepower too. Again, that may be helpful but it doesn't address the core issue here. How do we prevent the violently mentally ill from having access to these kinds of weapons?I'd rather have armed security at the entrances. Bullied kids could also go to them for help.
Teachers have stressful jobs. I wouldn't want one to snap while armed at school.
