Sure, but he did not limit it to that in his answer. He knows better than that. He was simply lying, did not know he was being investigated by the FBI at the time.


Had he said what he said today.... it would not have been a lie.

Frankin's question said ANYONE AFFILIATED COMMUNICATED. It did not even limit it to discussing the campaign it was open to ALL topics of communication.

If you 1) spoke with the Russians and 2) are affiliated with the campaign, the truthful answer then is..... YES.
