Sessions met with Russian envoy twice last year, encounters he later did not disclose

Hillary lied to Congress, the FBI and the people for months, over and over, then destroyed evidence that was under subpoena,,,,pinheads didn't bat an eye about that....

riddle that for awhile.

Premise rejected, irrelevant, and focus.

WHAT HAS SESSIONS HIMSELF SAID ABOUT PERJURY?

Sessions voted to impeach Bill Clinton for perjury when the former president was accused of lying to a grand jury about his relationship with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, saying at the time that the decision weighed heavily upon him.

"It is crucial to our system of justice that we demand the truth," Sessions said after Clinton's acquittal in 1998. "I fear that an acquittal of this president will weaken the legal system by providing an option for those who consider being less than truthful in court. Whereas the handling of the case against President Nixon clearly strengthened the nation's respect for law, justice and truth, the Clinton impeachment may unfortunately have the opposite result."

Wrong.
Basic law is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. As I said earlier.

Yes and the mens rea is subjected to that standard. Under these facts, that the nation's top cop spaced out when he categorically asserted he did not speak to the Russians when he had done so twice personally within the last 4 months is an unreasonable doubt provided. He is guilty beyond reasonable doubt as to intent. That the statement was false is not even worthy of debate.

Nice, he convicts himself. "from the mouths of babes."

[h=2]Dumbed down for Democrats and othe idiots...[/h]
Week of July 18
Sergey I. Kislyak, the Russian ambassador, is among a small group of diplomats who
chat with Mr. Sessions after an event during the Republican National Convention.

Are we supposed to consider this a 'meeting' with between Sessions and the Russians ?
Is it also a 'meeting' between Sessions and each of the diplomats in the group ?
Are pinheads actually insane in the true sense of the word ?

Only the insane could stretch this into defining it as a 'meeting' with the Russians....
Its akin to you being accused of eating dinner with a child molester because you were both in the same restaurant and the same time....

Sept. 8
Mr. Sessions meets privately with Ambassador Kislyak in his Senate office.

At the confirmation hearing for attorney general, Senator Al Franken, a Democrat,
asks Mr. Sessions what he would do if “there is any evidence that anyone affiliated
with the Trump campaign communicated with the Russian government in the course
of this campaign.” Mr. Sessions replies: “I have been called a surrogate at a time or
two in that campaign, and I didn’t have — did not have communications with the
Russians, and I’m unable to comment on it.”

Franken's question is about the campaign. "Affiliated with the Trump campaign"...."in the course of this campaign"....the context is clear .....and Sessions denies communications with Russians in that context....
His meeting was between a Senator and an Ambassador....not between a campaign official and a Russian....just as any meeting between a Senator and any foreign country's ambassador and is quite normal.

Senator Patrick Leahy, a Democrat, asks Mr. Sessions in a written questionnaire whether “he had been in contact with anyone connected to any party of the Russian government about the 2016 election, either before or after election day.” Mr. Sessions replied, “No.”

The context of the questions is the Trump campaign....meeting to discuss the campaign, and
Leahy plainly asks about meeting with Russians in connection with the 2016 election...
Sessions says he did not meet with the Russians in connection with the 2016 election.
He clarifies that as a Senator, in the course of his job, he often meets with foreign Ambassadors.

In neither case was there perjury or an attempt to mislead anyone....He answered the questions considering the context in
which they were asked....the context of the Trump campaign and the 2016 election.

there was no attempt to cover up these so called "meetings" ... there was no 'secret' about either 'meeting'....
they didn't occur behind a tree in the park or in the back seat of car parked in a dark alley....they were overt and public for anyone to
find out about if they cared to.

Bullshit.
Beyond a reasonable doubt.

Lying ignorant asshole.

Yeah....for instance, its well recognized that pinheads don't consider sucking cock is a sexual act.....

or lying about it under oath is perjury.....

maybe it depends on what the meaning of 'is' is.........

another riddle....

Hillary meeting with the Russians before she SOLD THEM URANIUM

90

Then there's that lol.

Just Uranium to Russians and probably onto Iran, but it's no biggie.

Take the hysterical gloss off and everything you just said is true. Sorry, and sorry you've lost your mind. Trump is a fool and should never have been elected. He is temperamentally, emotionally, and psychologically unfit. Moreover, he is completely incompetent in matters of government and international relations.

You are ok with all of that and instead call all who declare these true and serious problems hysterical.
shoulda woulda coulda. He's POTUS. get over it.
You either hope for the best -in that his ideas of economic nationalism, and pruning back the regulatory state
while fixing border control are all worthy- and you can criticize the particulars.

It is the mindless all encompassing full retard rage that is objectionable.

I hope he does well in that if he does the USA will grow GDP,and wealth is good for all of us.

Consider the fact HRClinton never even mentioned economic growth, all she said was wealth inequality.
bumping along at 1.7% GDP like this last year is not going to cut it.

Where were you the other day when Rune told a bloody great porkie about military spending as a percentage of the government budget? He said it was around 55% when it is actually 16%. The loathsome toerag then proceeded to resort to cheap insults when confronted with the truth from Politifact. For the record, military spending as a percentage of GDP was 4.5% in 2015 and expected to be around 3.8% in 2020.

I just looked it up and found this chart. It appears that the % for discretionary spending is 54%, 16% is for discretionary and mandatory combined. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...art-federal-spending-circulating-internet-mi/

Lock him up!

"Then-Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) spoke twice last year with Russia’s ambassador to the United States, Justice Department officials said, encounters he did not disclose when asked about possible contacts between members of President Trump’s campaign and representatives of Moscow during Sessions’s confirmation hearing to become attorney general. One of the meetings was a private conversation between Sessions and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak that took place in September in the senator’s office, at the height of what U.S. intelligence officials say was a Russian cyber campaign to upend the U.S. presidential race.

The previously undisclosed discussions could fuel new congressional calls for the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Russia’s alleged role in the 2016 presidential election. As attorney general, Sessions oversees the Justice Department and the FBI, which have been leading investigations into Russian meddling and any links to Trump’s associates. He has so far resisted calls to recuse himself.

At his Jan. 10 Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing, Sessions was asked by Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) what he would do if he learned of any evidence that anyone affiliated with the Trump campaign communicated with the Russian government in the course of the 2016 campaign.

“I’m not aware of any of those activities,” he responded. He added: “I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I did not have communications with the Russians.”

Right....a US Senator from Ala. should resign for engaging in his senatorial duties on the Armed Services Committee. How many other US Senator's on the Armed Service Committee talked to any Ambassadors in their tax payer funded offices? This is getting pathetic if that's all the democrats can come up with to torpedo the White House. Enlighten us....what law was broken while engaging in international De'tente with a nation that has been estranged by the democrats for the past 8 years? More "fake news". I wonder why there is no transcript introduced of the conversations? Again...all that's presented is ACCUSATION...the same MO used by the left for over 70 years. Moveon.org I wonder where all those political bodies are buried that the demokrauts have accused over the past 70 years?

American Justice from the left: The accused must prove they are innocent of demokraut charges? What happened to the accusers prosecuting their evidence and proving guilt? This is the United States of America...no? Talk about a lawless group simply turn your head LEFT. And why was Senator McCaskill (D) not asked to resign when she "blatantly" lied about communicating with the Russian Ambassador? If its a crime for one senator its a crime for another...if not...why not? McCaskill does not have the power to prosecute the mole droppings found in the intel community like Jeff Sessions? Things that make you go....HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Yes I know, I provided that link to the lying arsehole the other day. Predictably he just carried on lying!! The total percentage is indeed 16%. He is not in a position to judge others when he is so fatally flawed himself.

Poor Tom.
He sounds like yurt.

You lied.
Like a 5 year old.
Everyone can see that you're a lying arsehole who thinks he can escape by resorting to childish tactics. If you were any sort of a man you would concede that you were wrong and move on. But we all know that won't happen. Even exhorting me to lick your scrotum won't get you off the hook, you haven't a shred of credibility left.

Why did he lie, Ralphie? Why didn't he just say he met with the guy twice instead of pretending it never happened?
