The smart people in the GOP always knew the fake birth certificate-Kenya tale as always bullshit. But they kept their mouths shut, or actively encouraged the conspiracy theory because they knew it served short term GOP objectives -- because they could count on bigots, racists, and neo-confederate dipshits to buy into this bullshit. Thereby raising more money, stoking more voter resentment, and getting more angry white people to vote.

Obama certainly had some quasi-Marxist associations---Rev. Wright comes to mind.

And the Muslim/Christian question is complicated by the fact there's a not insignificant minority of global Muslims who consider Obama a Muslim---an apostate Muslim.

So while it's true there's some on the right who say these sorts things about Obama, Obama hasn't done much to help himself.

Lordy, educate yourself man.

He formed ISIS in Iraq in 2006. Probably changed his name to al Baghdadi then. ISIS was just another of several al Qaeda off-shoots, was off the radar and remained 'JV' until 2013-14 when they started to take large swaths of territory, while Obama did pretty much of nothing.

So, while Obama did finally go after ISIS, it was only after they became a bigger problem than their parent group, al Qaeda.

It's not a lie to say that Trump inherited ISIS from Obama. In fact, it's entirely accurate.
