Sentor Flake (R-Az): "I wish the GOP had stood up to birtherism"

ISIS was actually borne out of the Iraqi Republican Guard officers who fled the country when Bush invaded.

Which, Obama was 'late to the party' in dealing with. And his dithering led to an international crisis.

Seriously, what is it with you people and Obama?

Cypiss ignores the reality that it was a democrat who started the birther movement.

He ignores much of life though, must be nice living in the wilds with crazy squirrels.

It was a low level staffer in Iowa, who was fired and the claim immediately dismissed. Your Orange-skinned asshole is the chief proponent of the movement.

Quit the diversionary bullshit

There was a question of whether Obama was born in the states. Hillary started it. Private citizen Trump and some on the right picked up on it. Most republicans, myself included, didn't give it much credence. Obama, seeing an opportunity to use the issue as a political tool, withheld his BC to keep it going.

End of story. It pegs my 'I don't care meter'.

It had little to do with where we are today. What got us here, are weak republicans. As I pointed out, they should be voting to reign in Mueller's investigation and hold him to his 'Russia only' mandate instead of voting to hamstring Trump on it.

That's the sort of thing that got us to this point. I marvel that more people don't see it.

Another lie.

Identifying Obama as an 'other', 'not one of us', 'African-born' foreigner has everything to do with racism.

A black foreigner from Kenya is equally foreign [constitutionally] as a pastey white foreigner from the U.K. and both would be ineligible for POTUS.

Nice try though.

Okay, point me to a conservative or liberal campaign (not accusation) against a white president based on their birth status.

Historically, there's been five, counting the controversy over Ted Cruz.

All of them, pastey white guys.

I didn't happen to notice you in your minstrel outfit pushing the Ted Cruz issue like you did for Obama, and Cruz actually was born on foreign soil, as was Arnold. No facts indicated Obama was born anywhere but in Hawaii. He was also a church attending Christian. How often does Dump go? Fuck off, racist.

Crack kills.

You asked for other instances of whites candidates with BC issues and I provided it. But you tried to weasel out of it and ended up calling me a racist anyway.

Your type, is what gives progressives a bad name.

Not one-off questions that are asked then answered in basically the same day/week. I said 'campaigns' -- as in targeted efforts, involving large groups of people, spanning months or years. There's a HUGE difference in asking if McCain is eligible to run based on where he was born, then answering that question and moving on -- compared to what was thrown at Obama. Obama said he was born in a viable American territory, Obama PROVED he was an American citizen, but even after his birth certificate was requested and shown, that wasn't good enough. They (meaning you) needed his long-form certificate. They (you) hounded him until he showed his 'papers'. Then they accused that certificate of being fraudulent. Then they asked for his college records, because no black man could get into college by his own merits, right?

There has been no parallel to Obama's birtherism in recorded history. And it was racist.

I asked for nothing, racist. If you don't refute Birthers fully throatedly, you are a racist. It's an accurate litmus test.

Nuh-uh. There was no controversy over Hawaii being an American state when Obama ran for president. McCain was born in the Panama Canal. Cruz was born in Canada. There is no parallel. Obama's citizenship was PROVEN before the birtherism started. And it persisted after he provided extra proof. And that wasn't good enough. Why did Trump ask for Obama's college records?

Own the stink that emanates from your putrid cesspool.

Dude, the claim was made that since Obama was subject to a BC controversy then 'it must be racism!'.

Clearly, that's a lie. Kind of an ugly one at that.
