And again... I don't pay "wages" and I don't pay "by the hour". I pay to have my house cleaned, my garden trimmed and weeded and my pool cleaned. I could care less how long it takes them to get those tasks accomplished. I don't pay them for what they do, I pay them for what they get done and I pay them more than they ask for.

How about you and your contractors? Do you pay THEM more than they ask for, and if not, why not?
 
Since it was 'behind the scenes', I wasn't simply late. I wasn't invited. Nor would I want to be.

You know about how long it takes to accomplish these tasks, so do the math.
 
didn't someone in this very thread, not too long ago, say, "none of your business"? Well... what rates I have contracted with my housekeeper, gardener and pool guy are none of your business. Like I said... I pay them more than they ask for and more than their other clients.
 
Except of course that they are, because they are pertinent to the discussion. I understand fully, however, why you've tried to deflect the conversation first to skiing, then clothing, then back room discussions. The answer destroys your credibility as a compassionate liberal.

but I will say, that regardless of the period in American history I found myself, if I found myself anywhere south of the Mason-Dixon line, I would immediately head north with all due dispatch until I had crossed it.

Lots of Democrats did that. We didn't much appreciate the mess that they caused us down here. Bad enough they wanted to own niggers (your term not mine) but they wanted us working folk to fight for them. Then when the Yankees whooped their asses they started to lynch some of us. We ran 'em out by golly.

took ya all the way until the late 60's to finally get them all gone or converted. Me? I'd never live in any of the former states of the confederacy.... way too creepy and redneck-ish for my tastes.

None of them converted that I know of. They are still as bigoted now as they were back then, as you so eloquently demonstrated. LOL!
 
I think Trent and Strom were both democrats in the beginning. They converted to the party where southern racists are always welcome.

did Trent and Strom not switch parties from democrat to republican after the civil rights act passed? You remember ol' Strom, who raped his 15 year old black chambermaid but went on to run for President as a dixiecrat? and my distaste for the south has been field by a lifetime of interactions with asshole, redneck, racist southerners like you... it is not bigotry in the least. It is learned behavior based upon personal experience.

Yeah, two guys, especially one who told a joke at a colleague's birthday party, are definitely indicative of an entire political party. At least that's what a bigot would think. Again your bigotry exposed, a third time in as many posts. Three strikes and you're out though as the story goes...
