Seattle Drawing Closer to #Defund

I am a lover of movies from way back in the 70's when my best friend Greg loved movies and knew everything about movies because his parents loved movies....to the point that all most all of their dates were to the movies....daughter was named after an actress.

I have passed this love onto one of my daughters....she throws glorious Oscars parties.

I want to test a fellow movie critic who apparently loves high school movies so here's the test. To appease the wrath of the mods, I'll make it a spoiler.

The thing you need to understand about me is that I have been spending this life working and taking care of the family and with a workaholic wife who was often deployed and that we spent 6 years in Germany and I did homeschooling for a much of the 10 years I was a full time dad...

I missed a lot of movies....I am only just now in this second childhood known as retirement beginning to sample the library from Hollywood.

I am not interested in your test.

Oh okay. I didn't mean anything.

For relatively recent films set in Seattle, I recommend 88 Minutes, with Al Pacino. Firewall, with Harrison First was kind of meh.

I am trying to communicate with you....though you have been a dick towards me for some reason I have no clue of you are interesting.

And I am looking for smart interesting people to talk to.

I was happy to have a fellow movie critic here. No clue how I am being a dick towards you.

Seems there's a misunderstanding.

Seattle fell out of favor....I think that the process of making a movie in Seattle became more of a pain in the ass and more expensive and just not worth it.

I feeling like I am trying to talk to an autistic.

Watch the fucking movie.....it is spectacular for a whole bunch of reasons, and ya, Heath Ledger is one of them.

As I have stated, I think I have watched it. Watching the trailer jogged my memory. No idea why the hostility.

And I will watch it for sure. Thanks for the suggestion.

You are welcome, and what you take as hostility is 100% about how you have treated me in the past.

My list of four best high school movies?

1. Ferris Buller's Day Off. Buller? Buller? Buller?
2. The Breakfast Club.
3. Sweet Sixteen.
4. Fast Times. Ordering pizza to be delivered at a class was pure genius.

How can you possibly not have Risky Business in there?
