Seattle Drawing Closer to #Defund

Things were always bad with the mishandling of the homeless problem, the Council's/Sawant's war on industry, and so forth. But, the current situation has allowed things to really go to hell fast. I remember thinking the head tax would achieve this, before the council wimped-out and repealed it.

Mishandling? Can we say at least complete failure to perform? It is not at all clear to me that they even tried, they sure have refused to be transparent, and they sure act a lot of the time like the more the better when it comes to Street People....that they are running a Street People Management jobs program. .

Seattle was a pretty awesome city once but that is all gone now.

There has in the last eight years or so been a certain kind of stupid running this city, that so many of its young tech citizens have had their minds warped at failed universities but are none the less sure that they are some of the bestest humans to ever walk the Earth is at root the whole problem.

SAD

You're assertion that Seattle is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and has one of the highest average incomes in the United States is correct and makes your comments make you just look like a stupid moron

It will shock you not at all that now that they are all gone lots of people are writing love letters to the 747....saying that it was the best flight experience that ever has been besides perhaps the Concord if you happen to be into that sort of thing.

The only time I was on a 747 was on bankrupt Pan Am, with two small kids, coming back from Germany....I am not the person to ask.

That's awesome. Despite operating radar systems for NORAD air defense, my aerospace knowledge is pretty limited. When I saw your post about it being retired, I realized I haven't actually spotted any of them since I got trained into a position that examines flight plans, two years ago.

So much for your powers of discernment.

Oh, yeah. I know it's a deliberate effort. Nice ode to Todd Herman, there.

Despite Stadium HS actually being located in Tacoma. Great flick, though.

One of the best...and a great movie for those who want to understand the Seattle Culture before it was ruined by Mega Corp and "I had my brain warped at a failed university and I am so clueless and intolerant!!!!And Fuck You!"

The West Coaster in me was a little offended that Julia Stiles wanted to attend an East Coast college.

I dont go with you there...its her life....what ever floats her boat that is legal I say.

I do so love her though.... she can and will work, she has boatloads of charm, and she is quirky....the trifecta with me.

I might have seen that movie. Not sure. After watching the trailer, I think I remember. Maybe I should watch it. I love high school movies. RIP Heath Ledger.

There is no maybe here....there is an argument that this is one of the best 25 movies ever made.

It was fun seeing her pop-up in the Bourne movies.

Glad that you're a fellow movie critic. ;)

I am a lover of movies from way back in the 70's when my best friend Greg loved movies and knew everything about movies because his parents loved movies....to the point that all most all of their dates were to the movies....daughter was named after an actress.

I have passed this love onto one of my daughters....she throws glorious Oscars parties.
