Look it is very simple, at least to me anyway, to run a fast food outlet successfully you need a lot of customers and they are mostly drawn from the lower paid echelons of society. Automating their jobs and not replacing them with anything is going to cause the business model they rely on to fail. That seems fairly uncontroversial to me at least. I know it will happen anyway but ultimately they are cutting their own throats.

This is still nonsense. They'll just add the same cash machines as the MJ shops and strip clubs have so that they can abuse the food stamp program there too. They'll still spend their money there, Tom. You needn't worry about the bottom line of the local McD's franchise... They'll keep the food cheap by removing labor costs, and the people most hurt by it will still give them their money.

The only ones showing disdain for entry level workers are Liberals who argue that they are too stupid to grow in their experience to make more; therefore well intentioned leftists in Government need to arbitrarily raise wage rates.

The irony for such well intentioned stupidity is that it is a historic failure and has never done anything to improve lives or living standards.

For instance in magical PoorPeoplistan where the MJ shops and strip clubs are plentiful but there are no grocery stores. In such a pakce why should a card limited to specifically grocery items be accessible at all?
