Yeah if this is about those documents it should have handle the very same way they have done it with every other president. By negotiation. I suspect this was actually a fishing trip to see if they could find 1/6 evidence. The classified document thing was just a good excuse to look into Trumps stuff. Trump has already let the government look through the box of records that they took yesterday. I also I think they did this to put a suspicion of investigation on him to hinder his chances of running in 2024 because they are terrified he would win.

No, I think it was a fishing trip to find anything useful in Trump's personal papers that could be leaked and damage either his endorsed candidates or Trump in 2022 and 2024. This was a political raid of the sort Nixon had the FBI do on the DNC at Watergate, only with a fig leaf of legal paperwork to try and cover it up. This is why Biden denies knowing about it (almost certainly another whopping lie). That way if it all turns into a shit storm, Biden can claim ignorance and avoid a Nixon-like fate.
