Scott Walker Legalizes Rape

Scott Walker signed legislation that will do many terrible things to women, and none of those terrible things should be glossed over, but this thread is about the most sensational (and therefore most satisfying to the right wing thugs who support it); the forced transvaginal ultrasound. There's nothing like getting those bitches on their backs and forcing their doctors to rape them with an instrument is there? So satisfying, especially since these women are seeking abortions and have therefore consented to have a penis penetrate them at least once. The right wing authoritarian mind loves punishing a woman for that.

I am always interested in watching nominal "libertarians" (the ones who really vote Republican, we know who they are) claim they don't support this. Eh, I'm not for this, but love that Scott Walker kicking that union ass! In other words, it's no skin off their noses so what? It's not as if someone is coming at them with a 12' wand before they can have their viagra scripts (of which they consume copious amounts).

I would love to figure out the connection between these right wing, koch-sniffing thugs' love of destroying, punishing, and degrading unions, and their love of destroying, degrading, and punishing women. What's the connection? WHy do these corporate funded whores seek to control women? I would love to hear some theories on that.

In the meantime, here is the best thing I ever read about these state-mandated rape laws being shoved down women's throats across our nation. I pray we rise up, take back the wand, and stick it where it will do some actual good.

Doubt you will get much actual red state response to this, as TinFoil hat-idiot's groan indicates.

Yeah I don't get the groan. Maybe it's because he hates unions and loves Scott Walker and thinks I have some nerve comparing this law to rape...even though it meets the legal definition in many states.

They can be touchy that way. Very sensitive souls.

Maybe he just approves of the new laws and thinks it is a good direction to head, barefoot, pregnant and all that.

Take Tinfoil's groans as a badge of honor. He's particularly sensitive when the truth hits home.

Walker is priming himself for a presidential run in '16. Unfortunately (or fortunately) there's not enough teabaggers out there for it to succeed. Unfortunately, his state won't be a shining example of his leadership.

btw...you'll enjoy my new sig.

This is the instrument used by doctors to shove up a woman to do an invasive ultrasound.

Aside from the fact that it's probable ten times larger than the average Republican penis, how many of the male supporters of this procedure would allow that to be shoved up their ass?

I think it goes back to controlling uppity people -whether it's women, minorities, or low paid employees who want a fair shake.

It's a sign I guess of how successful feminism has been that they are lashing back so hard. But I wish they would think of their mothers, daughters, wives, nieces, sisters, etc before they propose or sign this crap.

We need to be more successful - we need a lot more women in office. Women in office DO make a difference. Yes, there are conservative women who might go along with this bill. But there are a lot of republican women - elected officials - who speak out against it.

Love the slate article.

Yes, good point. So many highly accomplished Republican women are pro-choice. For instance Condoleezza Rice always comes to mind.

The transvaginal ultrasound can ONLY be a punishment. I have three children, I have never even seen one of these. They were NEVER used.

Interesting idea.
I would never vote for it, but it would bring independents in droves. Republicans would hate it and then finally criticize Rice for living with a woman for years and owning a house with her, but they were NEVER going to vote for Rice anyway.

I guess the right doesn't think it rape becuase they made it so the woman has to pay for the rape.

With Condi Rice or Susan Rice? I would agree with you on the former, not on the latter.
Condi of course. That ticket would probably win by a large popular margin. Rice would never agree, she values her private life too much, but that would be a great ticket from day one. If they appeared together to announce prior to the primaries, I doubt ANY Dem. would run against them. They could raise cash for the general election from day one.

Regardless of her private life, I can't see her ever accepting an invite from Hillary for VP.

yeah now lets make an anal probe mandatory for white Christians to be able to vote.

that is a joke incase any brain dead poster cant figure it out.

requiring women to pay for a useless invasive procedure that will cost them money so they can receive the healthcare of their choice is really fair huh.
