religious dharma/dogma is immutable - the practice of religion however depend on the sect.
Conflating dharma with rigidity of thought is stupid. Dharma is immutable as I have said over and over so there is no room for changes - unless some august body of that religion changes the dharma.
Religious dharma cannot be conflated with rigidity of thought however- rigidity of thought goes to being able to change perspective of incorporate new data.
So simply saying religious dharma is immutable does not impact on other worldly thinking.
One can incorporate new ideas into one's perspective on non-religious matters - but still remain faithful to dharma
You would have to show those who are religious , are also rigid thinker in secular, non-religious matters.
Nothing in the OP shows that
Nice attempt to divert. Your "immutable" dogma is the very definition of rigidity of thought. How they treat secular, non-religious matters is not relevant. Their religious beliefs depend upon rigidity of thought.
