Science

Why are you trying hard to understand it?

What is the scientific basis for it affecting you in any way imaginable?

Because I find it to be very confusing and I’m curious lol?

Back when I was still working before the Fauci furlough, and the ensuing economic crash, we had to take periodic instruction on issues like this since we could encounter trans patients. One of the test questions was whether a woman who was convinced she was a man should be given a prostate exam if they requested one.

The answer was ‘no’ obviously. But how does one keep from concluding that [at minimum, some of] these people are deeply confused and are in need of psychiatric help and not surgery?

What I don't get is if a man wants to cut off his arm because he wants to become an amputee, they will say he has a mental issue and needs help and Dr's won't perform the surgery.

But if the same man wants to cut off his penis to become a women, that's perfectly fine! No mental issues at all!

Uhh what?

Why do some women want cosmetic surgery?

Not true. Doctors have performed these surgeries. It is true that the mental screening for competence is significant, and one may need to hunt around for a surgeon who will do it. But mental health is just as real as physical health, and if a patient is considered at risk for suicide etc. if the offending limb is not removed, some doctors will take that seriously. It is not typically a first 'go to' treatment, but it has been performed and there are some interesting medical and medical-ethics journal articles on it online, if you are curious.

The transgenders I have known & encountered aren't confused at all. They know exactly what they're supposed to be, and what makes them happy. And they are often miserable when others tell them that they can't live their life the way they want to.

That's enough for me. That more than enough for me.

There are very few real transgender people, but claiming to be is by far the most productive way to gain intersectionality points, which are hugely important in UTOPIA.

It can also be a very fun lifestyle.

Well, there you go.

As a population, these people have a high rate of mental/emotional disorders and they are requesting a deformative surgery to alleviate it.

Not hard to imagine having trouble finding a surgeon to do it under those circumstances.

It’s also a great way for a male to knock down some hardware in women’s sports.

"Money Money Money....its always Money....Its always the Money that Matters!" .....sung to ABBA....

Yep, but more than that they are heros....as Bret and Heather have been pointing out recently so-called Trangenders were the top three leaders of the Evergreen Maoist Mob which is astounding given how few there are in America, and that trangenders are clearly at the head of the table with BLM and ANTIFA.....the heros lead the way....and trans is at the top of the intersectionality heap...which is about all that is going to matter in UTOPIA.

I have been saying for 20 years that the product and the heros of the Victim Culture Cult are Victims, that they need a steady stream of victims to keep the machinery running so they make as many as they need. Now we are getting charged for allowing that to go on for a good 40 years.

Bad performance tends to get charged, the Universe is just.

I was bellied up at the water hole one time and this dude walked in from out of town.

We started talking about his business and what brought him in town and etc. Then out of the blue he told me he was ‘trans’. Once I was sure he wasn’t going to hit on me lol, I asked him what he meant, specifically. He was a dude that wanted to keep his parts but he was convinced he was a woman. He basically thought of himself as a woman. Totally normal looking dude, not effeminate, nothing.

And get this..he was waiting on a woman to show up for a date. I stopped asking questions at that point and went back to my beer.

Yeah they also aren't cutting off a member. Big difference.

They are altering faces, sometimes for the worse.

If a transgender woman legitimately identify as a woman, wouldn't penis be useless to her?

If its a man donning a wig... and otherwise is completely a man... Come on dude.

That's a transvestite.

Not that odd. They don't see gender and sexuality as inseparable. She probably describes herself as a lesbian.

I have a trans friend. It was interesting to hear her story. It costs me nothing to call her a her. She suspects she might have been into guys if she had been allowed to roll with being trans from a young age, which is an interesting speculation, but of course just a speculation never the less.

It seems like we ought to be able to agree that some aspects of gender are cultural, not biological. Like who gets to wear skirts, or what kinds of toys they get to play with, or who is allowed to cry at movies (The Godfather doesn't count. Everyone cried at that one, right?)

I know at least some trans people who really don't like the sports shenanigans and feel that it hurts their cause, because segregation in sports is about sex, specifically sexual dimorphism, not gender. They see the trans women competing against other women as unfair, just like I do.
