Exactly. My mother somewhat spoiled me. She'd prepare my lunch box. Personally I'd try to teach my kid responsibility and have him prepare his lunch the night before or the morning of school or he eats bread and cheese the school provides.
If we were too poor to pay the lunch fees I'd insist he prepare his lunch box to teach him that the poor have to work a little bit harder to escape poverty. Lessons for life!
No mystery why both my kids have done well.
It's Blacks and now Mexicans and Muslims who they prefer to suffer...…..white women and white children are just a casualty of their war on minorities.

My ex and I put ourselves through school without any help from our parents. We bought our first home when interest rates were double digits. We never had any help from anyone paying our bills and we waited to have kids until we KNEW we could afford them.

E-8’s ...and O-3’s and their dependants are given benefits commensurate with their service. It’s not free.
My oldest brother was in Europe at age 16 in a student exchange program. French parents and American parents swapped room and board costs. Nothing free.
The BOQ were probably a bit above average but not the enlisted men’s quarters.
An enlisted man should know that most of the Military earn their modest income and benefits...many with their lives.
Refute the argument that enabling irresponsible parents who won’t support their families is wrong and that it encourages and results in more of it.
