With hundreds of thousands of federal employees currently furloughed or working without pay due to the ongoing government shutdown, President Donald Trump delivered another blow to struggling workers on Friday by signing an executive order that will freeze the pay of around two million public employees in 2019.

wealthy conservative shot callers have brainwashed the right wing Great Unwashed to hate government in general, thus abolish the tax system keeping them from being even wealthier
been going since the 19th Century at least..........the mouth breathers routinely vote against their own self-interests decade after decade

No active duty Navy Commander is losing pay over this for one. If your other neighbor with the FBI is being furloughed he or she is non essential to the operation of the FBI.

I had to ask if I was 'essential' during Reagan's shutdown. We all found it hilarious, if not insulting. We all came in, did our jobs and got paid. To this day I don't know if I or my department was essential or not.

Because life...to most humans (which eliminates most American conservatives)...is more than just what is essential.

We have national parks...not because they are essential...but because they make life more worth living. We have libraries, art galleries, music halls, museums and the like...NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE ESSENTIAL, but because they make life more enjoyable...more worth living.

Morons like you don't understand that...because your puppet masters do not make that part of your program...and obviously there is not enough humanity left in you to instinctively discern it.
