The Palestinians are not responsible for any of the ills you mention- whereas it's very easy indeed to trace the causes back to the actions of the arrogant victors of WW2 in situating and defending a non-Islamic state in the heart of Islam. The sooner that the US ceases to provide blanket diplomatic, financial and military support to this derailed democracy the sooner that the Middle East will again flourish, unfettered.
