When Russia is ready to surrender, one of the issues will be how to denazify the country. In light of the fact the top leader of the nation is, himself, a fascist, it won't just be a matter of ousting a handful of irregular paramilitaries on the fringes. This is why it will be so important to tie removal of the sanctions to Russia handing over Putin to the Hague for war crimes trials. Sure, that won't get rid of the lesser Nazis who assisted him in exercising power, but I suspect the site of him hanging by the neck until dead will convince most of them to go to ground.

I enjoy watching Putin's troll armies sputter when people refuse to subscribe to their wacky alternative-universe framing (where Russia isn't a fascist aggressor and it's the victim that needs denazification.) The Nazis in Moscow fucked up badly.... the incompetents were so god-damned stupid they sent their army out to get its ass kicked with "z" symbols on them that look, for all the world, like a half-assed attempt to draw a swastikas. Putin can keep flowing oil wealth to as many trolls on social media as he wants, but it's just not working to obscure that reality.

Zelensky trolls swamp the western media. You're not the most virulent of them but you certainly rate as voluntarily deluded.

The Russian Ministry of Defence says a total 2,439 Ukrainian soldiers have now surrendered from Azovstal, including the final 500 diehards who held out to the last.

It is not clear what will happen to the Ukrainian soldiers now. They are being held in Russian-run detention centres for now as POWs but their propaganda importance means their fate will almost certainly become the subject of intense political wrangling.

I'm anti-war, incidentally, not pro- anybody. I post the news that the Zelensky drones don't want to hear because I find their ignorant sycophancy fucking annoying.

You don't have to love Zelensky to take sides against Putin. You just need to be human. Putin's in a class with Rhonda Santis, Ironside Abbott, and the orangutan himself when it comes to despicable mutants.

I've never met the guy, moon. I admit to liking the Klitschko brothers a lot, though, if that means anything at all.

If you truly believe that Putin didn't start this, there's little need to discuss it further, though.

If you don't viscerally hate Putin, you probably don't hate Kim, Trump, DeSantis, and Abbott either--they all sleep in the same bed.

Zelensky is a Nazi like Putin is a Jeffersonian. This "Nazification" scam might seem a little less ridiculous if Putin wasn't a lot like Hitler himself with his iron grip on Russian liberties and vision of the old Empire.
