Russia offers Ukraine negotiations for surrender terms.

Is English your first language because that would be rather alarming.

You invested yourself in dozens of posts screaming about how intimidating the Russian bear was, and you expected Putin to roll over Ukraine in a matter of days.

Meanwhile, you have been parading around the board telling anyone who will listen what great judgement you have and how awesome your predictions are.

The Russian military has in recent years performed far above what American Intel claimed was possible. I am still not seeing any info on how they are doing in this operation, which is interesting.

In light of Putin's failures in Ukraine, experts now consider the Russian military a second rate military power which is not a peer of the United States military, or even smaller NATO forces like France or Britain.

War Shows Russia "Not A Peer Military To US" Or Even Smaller NATO Forces

Western Experts are well practiced liars.

And so are you.

ONCE AGAIN- the US will be defeated in another war of its own making in somebody else's back yard.
Russia's security concerns were legitimate. Should have listened to them.

This war has been a disaster for Russia, a second rate European nation has fought their supposed world super power army to a standstill, NATO is adding new member states to the alliance, and NATO is more united than it has ever been in it's history.

Now we'll see NATO's agenda.
Will it advise Zelenskyy to accept and save his country from further damage- or will it throw Ukraine under the bus by continuing to ply it with weapons ?
Surely, the hypocrisy of NATO's ' self-determination' mantra is obvious to everybody. If Russia waged war on all of Europe for the next year it wouldn't kill as many people or occupy as many countries as NATO has done.
Back off. Let Ukraine negotiate with its neighbor. Peace before obstinacy.

Why would Ukraine surrender when it has Russia on its heels?

The only leverage Russia has is MAD, and I think Ukraine is calling that bluff.

Western Experts are well practiced liars.

And so are you.

You invested a considerable amount of your miniscule credibility strutting around here and blustering how terrifying and proficient the Russian military is.

A second rate European nation has fought them to a standstill.

Only the most thoroughly dishonest poster would deny the conventional Russian military is not on a par nor a peer of the US military.

You follow Al Jazeera as well as RT, don’t you moon? Here are some snippets from their latest report on blameless Donbas:

After almost eight years of existence, the “republics” are understood to have evolved into totalitarian, North Korea-like statelets … secret police and “loyal” residents monitor every word, phone call and text message.

“It looks like the 1930s in the Soviet Union, a classic gulag,” Stanislav Aseyev, a publicist who was kidnapped in 2017 in Donetsk told Al Jazeera. For almost two years he was incarcerated and tortured.

Thousands of others were tortured and abused in the “cellars”, according to rights groups and witnesses. “The cellars where prisoners are held in Donetsk, and the widespread use of torture, are among the most obvious human rights issues,” said Ivar Dale, a senior policy adviser with the Norwegian Helsinki Committee, a human rights watchdog group.

The political heyday of Donetsk began in 2010, when its native Viktor Yanukovych became Ukraine’s president and brought cohorts of his cronies to Kyiv. They tried to wrest control of Ukraine’s politics and economy – but triggered months-long protests that ended in February 2014 when the Ukrainian parliament voted to remove Yanukovych from office.

Yes, the “People’s Republics” are a regular paradise. You can read the rest here:

Ouch that's painful, using one of Moonshi'ite's favourite news organs against him.

Russia is going up the very best NATO weapons. Cant use armor and the air is full of SAM and drones
They have HIMAR artillery we gave them.. i think it's GPS guided to target. and a mobile platform.
These and other NATO weapons are the worlds best, and many are stand off,or beyond the reach of Russian attack Ukraine just started it's "Kherson counterattack"

Kyiv’s counterattack in the Russian-occupied city of Kherson could push the war into a much more dynamic phase.https://www.newstatesman.com/world/...son-counterattack-ukraine-war-critical-moment

Ukraine missed the opportunity to save its cities and who knows how many hundreds of thousands of lives.

There is no ' bluff ' involved . Russia will, imo, go tactically nuclear if needs be.

Wars tend to grow, something that the Americans either dont know or dont care about.

Excellent article.

The Russian Defence Ministry denied that there was any loss of territory, saying 1,200 Ukrainian soldiers had died during the attempt to recapture Kryvyi Rih in the Kherson region.

“Effective actions by the Russian group of troops destroyed 48 tanks, 46 infantry fighting vehicles, 37 other armoured fighting vehicles, eight pickup trucks with heavy machine guns and more than 1,200 Ukrainian servicemen in a day,” Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said.

But Gumenyuk said Russian forces had not launched a defensive counterattack.

“Having dug in and feeling more or less protected among the reinforced concrete structures, [the enemy] does not want to climb into attack” she said.

Without modern Western weapons that would almost certainly have been true. Of course, equipped as you are with 20/20 hindsight, you were able to know this with absolute certainty.

While Moon, Hawkeye, and conventional wisdom was that Ukraine would be overrun in a few days, I wrote a month before the invasion that Putin was not going to have that easy of a time conquering Ukraine.

Ukraine is not Chechnya, Georgia, or Moldava. Ukraine is a large country with a substantial military, capable of inflicting significant damage.

At that time nobody thought that Biden would be stupid enough to create a proxy war with Russia.
His intent was to sever economic ties between Russia and Europe to America's advantage. Now look what he's done- and it's going to expand.

Everyone knew Ukraine would receive western military support if Putin invaded, including Russian military planners. That should have been part of their contingency planning. World military experts are shocked at the ineptness of Putin's military.

Putin spent over a decade and billions of dollars supposedly building a military worthy of a world superpower. Until 6 months ago, you probably joined Hawkeye in assuming the Russian military juggernaut was absolutely world class.

What Putin got for all that effort was a second rate military incapable of defeating a second rate European nation. Putin's military is not a peer of the United States, Britain, or France.

The French or German army, on their own, could fend off a Russian invasion. Probably Poland too.

How can Putin expect to get anywhere if he begins with his "denazification" bullshit, and then a demand for Ukraine to strip itself of defenses after Russia has shown its utter heedlessness in slaughtering the civilian population.
