come on man,really ,there are rights given or reserved to the people by the U.S. Constitution, and in particular, the Bill of Rights (first ten amendments,my tongue and cheek reply was nowhere in the constitution does it list the tight to drive anything.

NEWSFLASH!!!!!!! constitutions do not restrict the people, they restrict the government. That means that UNLESS there is a power SPECIFICALLY enumerated, the government cannot touch it.

Afraid I disagree. It's unreasonably dangerous but unless the product is defective there is no liability, maybe failure to warn with an accident.
But nutbags are supervening /intervening causes. A change in the law is required to fix this Repuke mess.

The moral issue is crystal clear, however. When you produce WMD that lack utility and it's foreseeable the product will be misused and kill people, then you are complicit in the deaths you facilitated. You have chosen an industry of death.
Just like cigarettes.
