Right Wingers are the Cancel Culture Champs

You can't keep track of your own gibberish, which I suppose is understandable. What you claimed as fact wasn't my education about which you know nothing unless you've looked at my profile and ignored what you saw.
It was your personal opinion of liberal Democrats in general.

If this forum had a rule that required posts to comply with minimal standards of debate practice you and every other Right winger here with one or two exceptions would be quiet as mice or long gone.

Still lisping away I see. Poor dumb bastard.

None of that has actually changed history nor policy. Or reality.

Au contraire. Pretending COVID was no worse than the flu changed 500,000+ people's lives -- they're dead. Same with the morons who swallowed the lie that Toadstool won -- five people had their history changed too -- they're dead. You don't think that promoting The Big Lie is trying to change history?

Who has engaged in cancel culture more fundamentally than the country's right wingers, canceling social acceptance for gays until that bias finally wore out (mostly), now doing the same against transgenders; canceling a woman's right to choose when and where they can, indoctrinating popular culture to reject science, a pillar of Western culture since The Enlightenment, and replace it with conspiracy theories and ideological nonsense. They own the title.

Actually un American and foreign b!tch owned right wingers at waging war against Democracy and civilization have cancelled their toilet culture of stench with all core value of America, the common decency of global humanity and I believe God at being of the sewer and on the down low bait for the devil to consume their bodies and souls at the eternal fire of the furnace of hell.

Let me ask you a few things here:

Why is the transgender suicide rate nearly 50%?

Is it a woman's right to choose and hers totally and alone?

billnyesaves-630x240.png

Bill Nye is a Progressive and Leftist, do you agree with what he proposes there?

Did Ronald Reagan have Alzheimer's while President? Does Joe Biden as President?
More recently, was a Chinese lab responsible for COVID 19?

Who invented Fascism?
Who invented Communism?
Who invented Critical Pedagogy?
Who invented Critical Race Theory?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know why the suicide rate is that high for transgenders, if it is. Whatever the rate, I imagine part of the reason for it is a sense of the social rejection they can't help but feel.

Yes, the right itself is hers alone.

Most of your questions have not much to do with "cancel culture" - Regan apparently did suffer from dementia during his second term; Biden clearly does not; I don't know if a Chinese lab was responsible for Covid 19 and neither do you; fascism and communism are both ideological frameworks that have derived in different forms in different places; neither can be said to have been "invented". Soviet communism, for example, bears little relationship to the ideas of Karl Marx. I'm vaguely familiar with the social justice ideas of "critical pedagogy" and "critical race theory", don't know who first proposed them. But I appreciate the implication - that
"canceling" ignorance and prejudice is also cancel culture in its way.

Here's a question: do Americans owe their Constitutional rights of freedom of speech, assembly and religion to ideas that flowered on the Left or on the Right?

The difference is that the Right has no agenda for conquering and subjugating Western Civilization like the Left has.

The Right is infused with paranoia; always has been. Your post is an example of it.

Denying equal status under the law, denying equal opportunity, denying equal pay for equal work, denying the basic human respect for all that must be forfeited, not earned, are NOT examples of cancel culture.
It's all basic Republican policy.

Cancer culture and wokeness are the belief that people are entitled to never be offended or made to feel the least bit uncomfortable.
That's why I'm a hard left progressive but not a woke liberal.

You would say that if you are trying to imitate Mohammed Atta who told the passengers on a one-way trip headed for one of the Twin Towers, to stay calm and be quiet and everything would be okay.

Tell us your view of discrimination.

It's not entitled to that all-encompassing term if that's all it is, but it is very much like the Right to take it upon themselves to define "culture" and assume the role of culture police.

It is, and is generally accepted to be between about 40 and 50%. That's higher than in Nazi concentration camps, higher than in the Soviet gulags, higher than in any prison system, so it can't be blamed on social rejection or abuse.

Yes, the right itself is hers alone.

Then why do men have to pay child support?

Your view on Reagan / Biden is telling... I think there's good evidence it was a Chinese lab, far better evidence than any other explanation for it to date. Both fascism and communism have founding persons, just as critical pedagogy and critical race theory do. They didn't suddenly just spring up like weeds in a lawn or appear in multiple locations from multiple sources all at once. Not knowing their origins is a glaring weakness when you advocate through actions for any of these.

Critical pedagogy for example was invented by a radical Brazilian Communist named Paulo Freire. It derives from Marx and is thoroughly a Communist construct that advocates for making ALL education into indoctrination and politicization of students to turn them into Leftist radicals who would willingly overthrow the establishment. Critical race theory is a variant of critical pedagogy and critical law theory invented by Derrick Bell, a radical Leftist professor at Harvard. Its intent is to look at society and the legal system through a racial lens. That is, it assumes a racist position on everything in society as the cause for it existing. This is a variant of all education is indoctrination with the intent of overthrowing society. With critical race theory, all of society is racist and therefore needs to be overthrown.

Here's a question: do Americans owe their Constitutional rights of freedom of speech, assembly and religion to ideas that flowered on the Left or on the Right?

The Right. Almost all of the leading founders of the US, like those that signed the Declaration of Independence were Conservative in values, upper middle class or wealthy businessmen and entrepreneurs, and had a considerable economic stake in America. They were not dispossessed, were not seeking to overturn society in some radical way, had no intentions to purge society of certain groups as Leftist revolutions do. Their intent was simply to shake off what they saw as an overbearing and unfair system of government in Britain for one that was less so and based on individual freedoms.

That's unlike the Left where you generally see well educated (in terms of degrees and such) academics with no stake in society, holding ill-liberal values being the ones leading the charge. To see a Leftist revolution of that period look at the French revolution. That ended with the rise of Napoleon who sought to bring all of Europe the French revolution and the establishment of a new (what would be today) Socialist state.

Shamefully ignorant, especially the comment on the Founders, The War of The Revolution and the Constitutional liberties that followed were a product of the liberal values of The Enlightenment, including the writings of John Locke. I realize Right Wingers like yourself long ago talked themselves into a reverse education but I still find it startling to run up against it in someone who appears reasonably literate.

The French Revolution was liberally inspired as well, by the example of the American one that had just transpired, but it had no backbone like Colonial America to build from, and failed.

Your generalist ramblings aside, you are the one that is wrong.

The outcome of the American revolution saw a nation that was wary of, and against, a strong central / federal government, against a large standing military, made no attempt to redistribute wealth or emplace a system of taxation that would enjoin citizens to pay for some sort of welfare state. What Leftist values did the American revolution have within it?

On the other hand, the French revolution saw a nation that appointed a totalitarian, militaristic dictator and central government, immediately started producing a large standing army, had at its heart the intent to force social and economic equality on the population through elimination of the wealthy elite class(s) often by guillotine, along with the confiscation of their wealth. It was very much rooted in Leftist values.

Maybe you should read the Declaration of Independence and compare it to the French version called the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. The former claims man's rights are derived from God and nature while the later says they are derived from society and the state. Which sounds more Conservative and which more Progressive to you?

I'm willing to have this debate because I actually know history and can reasonably back my positions using it. It appears that you, like most Progressives, ignore history in favor of what you've been propagandized and indoctrinated to believe no matter how little there is to back those positions.

The "ramblings" were specific. If you knew history you wouldn't confuse late 18th Century liberalism with certain current Leftist thinking, nor would you idiotically suppose that elected government is "Right" while monarchy is "Left". Nothing then and now is more Right wing than "a large standing military". What you seem to know is Right wing propaganda. On Regan/Biden, by the way, I believe Regan's widow confirmed that the disabling dementia late in Regan's life began to appear in the closing period of his Presidency. There is nothing similar regarding Biden.

This will do it from me.

You confuse rhetoric and propaganda with reality. Historically, as you move Left you get huge standing armies. The Red Army of the Soviet Union, the PRC in China today, N. Korea's military, etc. are all numerically large standing armies. Sure, the US spends more on its military, but numerically, it's relatively small for the size of the nation even today, and historically (pre WW 2) it was virtually nonexistent.

Nothing in my previous post was about monarchy either. I compared the French and American revolutions, the documents each produced, and their outcomes.

I'm old enough to remember Boomers and Conservatives trying to cancel Dungeons & Dragons, after trying to cancel Twisted Sister, Married with Children, The Simpsons, all rap music, all heavy metal music, Mortal Kombat, The Color Purple, MTV, and Piss Christ.

Thanks to state Governors. Thankfully no one listened to democrats. It would be much worse. Speaking of which, why are all these people still people with Biden in? He is a failure. Killing American citizens.

You are wise to blame (R) state governors on the hideous death toll, but don't forget that under #TRE45ON, there was just about nothing helpful in the way of a national response. The fat fucktard wouldn't even put on a mask as an example to the citizens.

But sure, it's all Biden's fault.
