Right Wingers are the Cancel Culture Champs

Who has engaged in cancel culture more fundamentally than the country's right wingers, canceling social acceptance for gays until that bias finally wore out (mostly), now doing the same against transgenders; canceling a woman's right to choose when and where they can, indoctrinating popular culture to reject science, a pillar of Western culture since The Enlightenment, and replace it with conspiracy theories and ideological nonsense. They own the title.

Same script they run every time they are out of power, similar to their supposed concern with deficits/debt, under Obama it was "culture wars," challenging if Santa was black or white, during Clinton it was whether it was Christmas or Xmas.

Can't discuss complicated issues so just feed the base with idiocy to make them think their "heritage" and religion are under attack

That's exactly it. Democratic voters are motivated by issues and problem solving.

Republican voters are motivated by pissing off the liberals and reducing taxes even as the govt goes broke.

The Democratic Party has a platform; where issues are addressed. It includes the reasoning behind each issue and the policy sought to deal with it.

The Republican Party has no platform. The last time they even faked one was in 2016, but it contained few details, mostly lip service and talking points about how to oppose liberals on that issue.

Democrat: "We need to do [proposed action] to address [described problem.]"

Republican: "We need to stop immigration! White culture is being cancelled!"

Ya see how that works? The Democrat is trying to improve the nation, undertake some new initiative; the Republican is afraid more brown people will degrade the nation and simply wants to stop what's going on.

The Democrat is trying to build a better future, the Republican is clinging to the past.

There's almost no productive dialog between them.

Exactly

I always knew democrats/liberal/progressives woke up stupid and it just got worse during the day.

Seriously? Seems to me that those crying the loudest about the so-called cancel culture are the ones most engaged in doing just that. How many (R) legislatures are currently promoting or have already passed voter suppression laws? As I posted earlier, RWers support boycotting Nike because of Kaepernick. Starbucks. Netflix. Keurig. Twitter. Facebook. Dixie Chicks. Dick's Sporting Goods. Ben & Jerry's. Amazon. Target. All the airlines that dropped the NRA member discount. Etc. Etc.

That is not name calling. That is pure fact. Progressive just means you get progressively stupider. You show that quite well.

More name calling. Incidentally (not this will register with you) but saying something is a fact is not an argument that it is a fact.

All those things you are referring to is some sort of material business right? Not physically attempting to change history or make science fit ones narrative.

I started noticing through my personal interactions way back in the early 80's that generally the people on the Right are more tolerant than those on the left, that those on the Right are much more likely to be "live and let live" people, and "hate the sin not the sinner" people, and also not rude.

Oh okay. You want examples of those things by the Reichwingers?

Trying to change history: "Trump really won the 2020 election." "There is no hacking or election interference by Russia." "The January 6th attack on the Capitol was really done by Antifa and BLM and other 'radical leftist groups.'"

Make science fit narrative: "Climate change is a hoax." "The COVID is no worse than the flu." "Vaccines are poison." "Being gay is a choice." "A zygote is a human being."

No. Once again fact. No need to prove your lack of education. It is quite apparent.

You can't keep track of your own gibberish, which I suppose is understandable. What you claimed as fact wasn't my education about which you know nothing unless you've looked at my profile and ignored what you saw.
It was your personal opinion of liberal Democrats in general.

If this forum had a rule that required posts to comply with minimal standards of debate practice you and every other Right winger here with one or two exceptions would be quiet as mice or long gone.

None of that has actually changed history nor policy. Or reality.
