LOL... No, I don't want theocracy, and as long as we have a Constitution, we can't have a theocracy. You are grossly misguided.
I am willing to allow democracy to prevail. A democratic society deciding not to allow beer sales on Sunday, is not an establishment of religion. It is respecting the free exercise of religion. But more importantly, it is democracy.
You have fallen victim to the Atheist trap, whereby all things Christian must be rebuked and discarded. That's the fundamental root problem with our society today. You see, Christianity teaches the very principles and constructs for a moral and civilized society. When you throw that away, what have you really thrown away? It's not rocket science!
Remember this... if you don't remember anything else I say... Christianity is a religion of acceptance. You MUST accept and believe, that Jesus Christ died on the cross so that you could be forgiven for your sins. IF you don't accept that, IF you don't believe that, you can NOT EVER be a Christian! No matter how badly the Christians want you to be one, you simply CAN'T BE ONE!
Christianity CAN'T be forced on you! It's IMPOSSIBLE! That being said, there is nothing to fear from Christian-based beliefs, the teachings of Christianity, or even laws respecting Christian faith. In fact, it is that very thing that our country is missing, and the root cause for many of the problems we have now. Too many people have done as you, and fallen into the Atheist trap, believing that if we allow anything "Christian" anywhere in our public realm, we have somehow breached some proverbial "wall of separation" and nothing could be more ridiculous.
