He didn't say "fight" them, he specifically said "it’s a season of war," and delivered it with a fervent passion to a crowd of supporters
So fighting is ok?

Words have actual meanings that are not subject to debate.
"Fight" is a perfectly appropriate word in politics, in civil rights struggles, in competition against competitors.

Opposing politics isn't war, never was, and unless small minds like Bannon prevail, never will be
Civil war entails conflict, warfare, combat, fighting, bloodshed, etc, and in political terms, even beyond dissing the military, its only applicability would mean dogmatic, fanatical, insular, autocratic, authoritarian, etc.

Nothing newThat's humorous coming from a supporter of eight years of obstinate politics and one now afflicted with amnesia with debt/deficits as applied to the new Administration
You're simplifying the problem. For 8 years, Norquist threatened any Republican who dared to work with Democrats.Legion, does it offend you when national writers refer to civil wars within the republican and democratic parties? Or only when Bannon says it?

No matter what it's called, this cannot be good for the desperate Republican Party which is already facing huge losses in the coming midterms.
Really lol?
What are democrats going to run on?

Health care
Sane foreign policy and cooperation with our allies
Comparisons with the sanity of the Obama years compared to the insanity of Trump

I can think of several adjectives for Obama's foreign policy, incoherent would probably top the list lol.
By the time 2018 gets here Obamacare will likely be gone. Jobs will be a big issue and a tough sell for democrats if it means going back to putting climate change ahead of jobs or going back to less than 3.0 GDP. Only die hard lefties will want to go back to open border policy.
Democrats will have their work cut out for them.
