If there is no clear and persuasive breakthrough by the FBI, Kavanaugh will be confirmed, and that a new nightmare opens for America.

It's only a nightmare for the left who realize that the Court's leaning is decidedly right. That has to hurt, boy, knowing your black boy didn't get to pick based on a standard shown by his own VP and your bitch Hillary won't get to pick a single member.

Your grandchildren, if they live to be very old, might see a left leaning Court but that's 50/50. You have the same chance of getting heads when flipping a coin just to put the possibility in perspective.

The Republicans will state simply that we gave you the investigation and that no reasonable prosecutor
would bring sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh based upon the evidence.

That makes sense. FBI will find more. No prosecutor will bring action after 36 years. Because the GOP are terrified (all though the loony Trumpbase disagrees) they are going to get hammered next month in the elections, they will force the nomination through by next Monday if they can.
